Tiny home in Chester Nova Scotia. Hosted by Dordean Suites

Booking at Dordéan Suites of Chester allows guests to be part of something that is bigger than just themselves, it’s about supporting a broader community and truly making a positive difference in someone’s life. In conjunction with hosting lovely guests, our goal is to also provide vocational training for adults with disabilities in a safe, community-based setting. These tiny homes are full of big dreams and big hearts.

Guests will have their own private parking area with professionally landscaped pathways leading to your suite

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. If you are arriving outside of check-in times, please call or text message to make arrangements. If you fail to notify us of your anticipated check-in time, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to access your suite until the following morning, and you will be charged for the night’s stay. Check-out: 11:00 AM. For customers who check out later than 12:00 PM daily, the daily site/room fee will be charged.

VISITORS
Visiting hours are between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. All visitors with daily entry must leave before 9:00 PM. Visitors who do not comply with the property regulations will be ordered to leave. Guests must provide notice should they wish to have additional visitors on the property. Visitors will be charged $40 for overnight stay if they stay the night in the primary guest’s booked suite.

Room was spotless so clean and cute with snacks and a cute card !! It was so perfect for a little get away. We stayed there after spending the day at the Sensea Nortic Spa, it was great to come back to more relaxation with the hot tub and adorable room!

What an amazing and magical place. Accommodations are excellent. The small houses have everything you need and then some. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice small home, was very relaxing and quiet. Made for a good couples retreat. We experienced some difficulties from the weather, but the owners/staff were more than happy to help us solve the problems!

My mini cabin was cute, clean and had everything I needed. Host was easy to communicate with. Good for 1 or 2 people. The loft had a very low ceiling but was set up nicely.

A perfect little oasis

What a great cozy tiny home! They had all the extra little touches to make it over the top. A beautiful personalized note, a welcome basket, candles, robes. A wonderful space for a romantic get away. The ground were great with the gazebo for relaxing it games and a hot tube for two. Thanks for the great stay

Nice small cabin

Everything you need and more, lots of nice attentions, like wi fi, treats for us and treats and personal note for my service dog. Only negative is that there is no curtain on upper window making it too bright for early to bed persons or if you want to stay in bed after sunrise. But overall very happy with our stay.

Amazing!

We had a lovely stay at the tiny homes. There was a short power outage the night we stayed but the hosts were incredible! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and we were well taken care of. I truly cannot say enough good things! The property was beautiful and so peaceful, we would love to visit again sometime!

Property was just as the listed pictures on the verbo site. Manager was extremely nice and greated us as we arrived. Inside was clean, cosy with a note to enjoy our stay. Welcome basket was a treat. Will definitely go again

Very unique... unbelievably clean. Quiet... beautiful surroundings. You want for nothing all included.Online pics don't do it justice. Certainly a hidden gem....very close to Chester NS. Hard to describe very very peaceful and absolute must see and stay!

We cannot express how beautiful and well thought out these homes are. There was a tasty basket of goodies along with a personal message welcoming us. The inside space is perfect in every detail (the layout of the bed with large windows looking out to the forest, the compact yet fully equipped kitchenette, the great shower, the beautiful photos, the loft). The outside is equally as impressive with private deck, fire pit, BBQ, table, chairs and lovely lighting...not to mention the hot tub and just how private you feel. The thing that truly made it unique was the love and thought put into creating this amazing space by the Joy family. We didn't want to leave

Nice private spot with a view of the forest.Minihome looks new and it was clean and has everything we needed.Mini fridge,stovetop,BBQ(had a steak),hot tub(it was a hot day it was a cooling tub p).Mattress was comfortable, AC worked great,cute spot....we ll be back.For the price you wont get anything like this in a hotel motel set up...cant go wrong

Would stay again

We would stay again in a heart beat. We arrived after dark, and it was very welcoming, with lighting on the deck and stairs. We appreciated having a code to get in, so that we could arrive at our convenience. The three homes are set in a beautiful wooded area. There was a lovely welcome basket with snacks and water and a hand written note. This tiny house was well-appointed: there were many outlets, robes, rubber slippers (for the private hot tub), a kitchen well-stocked with cutlery, etc and a 2 burner cooktop, lots of windows, a large deck with a bbq, table, chairs, and a tabletop fire pit. There was a binder with wonderfully complete and detailed answers to anything you could think of - with both written and pictorial information. There was a loft with a mattress. Its ceiling was low, however, so I'm not sure that older children would find it easy to move around in, and it also had ductwork along the walls. I loved that they support vocational training for adults with disabilities. The only con was that the upper window facing the bed didn't have a blind on it (I don't know how one would have closed it, anyway), so it would be a good idea to bring eye coverings to sleep with.
