Whistlepunk 3 - Ski in/Ski out - Easy Slope Access

Welcome to Whistlepunk #3! Whistlepunk 3 is a true Ski-In / Ski-Out with its own green access trail leading to the entire basin-side of the mountain. It's located at the top of the
Powder Monkey Lift and right beside Tuque's, the Pizza Slice and Appalachia Kitchen for easy dining and drinks. It's right across the street from Western Express Lift and the Western Territory with just a five-minute walk to the village. If you prefer not to walk, the free Snowshoe shuttle picks up right in front of the Pizza Slice. This location can't be beat! This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo has been fully remodeled with granite countertops, stainless appliances, new flooring, tiled showers, new fixtures and furniture. The primary bedroom has a King bed and the secondary bedroom has a Full/Twin bunk bed. There is also a Queen sleeper sofa in the Living Room. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking you may want to do and there is a washer and drying in the unit as well. The condo is equipped with Wi-Fi access and cable television as well. There are smart TVs/Rokus available for you to use your streaming services from home as well.
Remember that Snowshoe Mountain is in the National Radio Quiet Zone and there is not reliable cell phone reception around the mountain. You should print directions, confirmations, phone numbers, access codes and any other information to have hard copy to reference for your trip.

No Pets - Pets found in non-pet property are forbidden and will result in immediate eviction without refund and incur an additional fee for a deep cleaning of the condo.

It is recommended to purchase lift tickets in advance to ensure the resort is not at capacity during your visit. You can do that through the Snowshoe Mountain website directly.

It is recommended to drive a 4-wheel drive vehicle when visiting in the winter months as snow accumulation on the mountain can be higher than surrounding areas.

We had a great stay at Whistlepunk 3. Communication was clear and helpful for our visit! We arrived to a clean, warm and inviting space. The location was perfect for us to come and go easily during the day. We never had to drive and could easily walk to a nearby shuttle stop for night skiing. The condo had everything we needed to prepare meals and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed playing the arcade games. Just a wonderful stay all around!

Jeremy is an amazing host! Responsive, accommodating and his utmost goal is to make sure you are comfortable and happy. The condo was above and beyond our expectations; the beds were extremely comfortable, the firewood was stocked, the kitchen was well equipped and the view was picturesque. Truly a ski in/ski out as well. Best unit in the building.

Perfect Ski In/Ski Out Location

This location is perfect for Ski In/Ski Out. Easily accessible from one of the lifts and off of a green slope. One of our family members didn't ski and was able to sit by the porch and watch them ski by. You just walk out the door to the condo and out onto the slopes. The condo is wonderfully decorated and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was convenient located to the restaurants in the Corduroy Inn. Would highly recommend.

We had a great 4-night stay in this attractive and convenient condo. It's in a great location right on the slopes and next door to restaurants/bar. The layout is very comfortable - we particularly appreciated the living area's fireplace and ample supply of wood and the well-stocked kitchen. The owner was really helpful and responsive - we'd definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for our family!

We are very happy with our time at snowshoe and in this townhome! The communication with the owners was excellent before our trip even started and throughout our stay. The owner was very helpful and sent us everything we needed before we had to ask. The townhome was better than expected! The layout, decor and of the location were exactly what we wanted. Just a few steps and we were on the slopes. Our favorite part! The open floorplan was spacious, the unit was very clean and had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again!

Amazing!!

Most of the other listings are so outdated and don’t seem to have as nice of a location as this rental. After staying here, it’s a no brainer! The owner was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again. We had an amazing time and I think Whistlepunk #3 contributed a lot to our experience. Could not have asked for a better unit; corner bottom making it so easy to hop on and off the slopes and fun to sit and watch people ride down the mountain as we ate our lunch. The mudroom was a nice treat to be able to sit and take off your gear and a great place to let everything dry off for the next day. The place was so clean and inviting and had the perfect cabin feeling. The owners thought of everything; there really wasn’t anything missing- tons of games, firewood, well stocked kitchen utensils, household supplies, toiletries, etc. We made great memories here and hope to rent again in for our next ski trip!

Best trip in 5 years!!!

My son and I take a yearly ski trip together and more often than not we go to Snowshoe. As children get older and start families of their own, trips like this mean so much more than they used to. The progression of life I guess. This trip was one of the most memorable. I have been eyeballing Whistlepunk 3, specifically, for many years and told him we would stay there one day. It is 20 yards from the slope. It is truly the definition of ski in/ski out. Well this year we made that a reality. And it did not disappoint. The place was perfect. Plenty of space, very cean and comfortable. The host was overly communicative pre and post stay. They had great tips for the trip not just about the unit but Snowshoe in general! Everything was just as described on the website. The price was worth every penny and very reasonable for one of the best units on the resort! We will return again and again for as long as they let us! Thank you for some of the best memories with my son in recent years!

Fantastic Snowshoe Getaway!

This property was awesome, the owner was extremely communicative, and willing to help. The home was clean, and everything worked as it was supposed to. Also, check in/out instructions were extremely clear and concise. Location is perfect for ski in/out, also close enough to restaurants and town center that you could walk. Would recommend, and will stay here again.

Updated Condo in a Great Location

We have been to Snowshoe many times, and this is by far the best place we have ever rented for our visit. The location is fantastic, truly ski in and ski out. The main slopes are just steps from the door and Western Territory is right across the road. The condo is very nicely updated and the kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials for cooking. Or if you want to go out to eat, there are restaurants right next door at the Corduroy Inn. This is a great spot, and the owners went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful time. We look forward to returning!

Family Ski Trip

We had an amazing stay at Whistlepunk 3! The place was perfect, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The was of access to the Whistlepunk slope was amazing - true ski in/out. Easy walk to the village (about 5 minutes) and other places to eat right next door made things super convenient. We hope to stay there again at our next Snowshoe trip!

We are a family from Richmond, Virginia. During the Pandemic we took our kids skiing for the first time and they both took to it quickly and loved it. We ventured from the mountains in Virginia to Snowshoe since it has the best snow in the mid-Atlantic and fell in love. We were introduced to Whistlepunk when our friends rented Whistlepunk 4 on a trip and a year later when Whistlepunk 3 hit the market we jumped on the opportunity to have our own place at Snowshoe. We hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we do!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We love the location of Whistlepunk 3 and think it is the best spot on the entire mountain. For those that like a green slope, you can put your boots and skis on while sitting on the back porch and ski down the short hill right onto the Whistlepunk slope. It's also conveniently located at the top the Powder Monkey lift for super easy access when returning from the slopes for a break. Across the street is the Western Territory for those that love the Black Diamond slopes. At night, the village is just a short walk, 5-8 minutes. For nights that you don't feel like walking, you can take the shuttle to the village with a stop right out in front of the Pizza Slice or there are dining and night life options steps away with Tuque's Appalachian Kitchen, and the Pizza Slice.
