The property was enjoyable and served our needs for the three night stay we were in Columbus. The property is well maintained with a few minor imperfections that others have mentioned in previous reviews but nothing so severe that I wouldn't stay there again. Things to consider if you book the house. At the time of my booking (Thanksgiving holiday), there was only one television (in the living room) so if you are looking to watch tv in the bedrooms you may want to bring your own (especially if you have kids who want to play video games). However, it looked like the owner(s) were preparing to add more. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and I was pleased with the cleanliness of them all. We brought our own towels (because that's what we do) but they were provided. The kitchen was very spacious and worked very well for our needs. The location was safe and "out the way" but close enough to anything you would need staying at a short term rental (grocery, gas, restaurants etc..). The lock on the front door is loose but does lock and function properly. I started to fix it myself but the wife reminded me I didn't own the property. LOL.. Internet didn't work initially but after contacting the owner it was addressed quickly. We didn't walk in with an expectation that everything in a short term rental should be perfect and because of that we were able to overlook the little things and enjoy the home. I would definitely stay at this location again.

This house was just Ok...I would not stay again.We arrived to the garbage cans tipped over in the yard when we arrived.The Front Door knob was practically falling off the front door, among various other doorknob inside the house. They just "fell off" when we turned the knob...VERY WRONG WAS : Jacuzzi tub was advertised as a "Hot Tub"and it was NOT a, hot tub, buta simple large bath tub in the master- AND it was not even working!!! The kitchen cookware was terrible, not even suitable for camping. Its a shame because we planned on cooking home-cooked meals for our solider-.Very disappointed overall.Only one, (Very Odd these days to say the least.)The major one the coffee pot had the coffee grounds still inside the machine which was stuffed up into an upper caibinet! Three coffee makers and not one was usable...All were Dirty and missing parts. There were only 3 not very nice towels per bathroom, and a single hand towel. I guess we were supposed to share towels? Also Not a single extra blanket or pillow to be found. Overall an OKAY house, it needs alot of updating and the BIGGEST thing that should be flagged by VERBO Take down the advertised "Hot Tub" that should not be allowed because there is no Hot Tub.!!!

Their home is big, clean, comfortable and private with a forest out back. I felt at home and I would definitely stay here again.

There is a lot of stuff broken in this house that hasn’t been fixed. Earlier reviews mentioning all of the broken item - nothing has been fixed. Door handles fall off, the gross towels from the one bathroom are still in there, the front door handle is so loose you are scared to use it. There is only one tv in the house. Hardly any stuff to use in the kitchen - there was one dish towel and we had to go buy an oven mit. They give one washcloth per bathroom so I guess you are supposed to share. This house has so much potential but sadly is not well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay! It was so nice to have 3 separate, full bathrooms for our family. The layout of the home was great! We also really enjoyed the deck and yard.

Very nice property front - but once you walk inside it is a mess. No hot tub. Door lock was barely hanging on, dead bugs in the light fixtures. Every cabinet was a mess, one bed was broken and one had hair in the sheets. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans etc were not even thrift store warranted. Needless to say, we did not stay. Then manager would not refund the stay. I’m working with VRBO to ensure the property description and rating are accurate. This was stressful and disappointing to say the least for a family of 7!
Do not stay here if you are used to staying somewhere nice!

Everything g is falling apart.

It's a beautifully design house. There were appliances available to use including a charcoal grill. The scenery was devine! Thank you for sharing your home with us. While all that was great, the host also offered wifi services which was false information. It had a smart tv, but it was useless because there was no internet services. The house was fairly clean. The guest bathroom had a moldy shower curtain hanging up. GROSS... which I replaced. Outside of all that, it was a memorable time for my family celebrating our son's completion of boot camp, all together under one roof.

The home itself is very nice, but it is showing the wear and tear of VRBO.Quite a few broken things and safety hazards that should have been replaced or repaired.They need a proper deadbolt lock on the front door. What is there are two standard locks so you have to use two hands to open the door. The home was teaming with ants especially the kitchen when we arrived. The host did not respond until day 3 and did nothing.

Wedding

The whole stay was wonderful...quiet community, no in and out traffic. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and set-up; very convenient to the walmart shopping center and close to Ft Benning.

Spacious and Comfortable House with Peaceful Patio

Absolutely loved the peaceful patio that looks out on the woods. Great place for coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. The house was very spacious and having three full bathrooms was great for our group of 4 women. The house is quiet and very comfortable. Would rent again if I'm ever in the area again.

CSU Graduation

The house was great and was just what we needed! Very centrally located to all of our activities, and had more than enough space for our family. Will definitely book again when we come back to Columbus!

Wonderful!

We had a great experience and the host was even kind enough to let us check in a day early last minute. It was very clean, very spacious, and perfect for a family including little kids. It was well stocked and there were plenty of towels for us. The only thing I think might take someone by surprise is how steep the driveway is down to the house but it was still easy to get in and out with two vehicles. The bedroom with twin beds had a little bit of a bad smell but no where else in the house and it could have been a temporary thing. We would stay there again if we ever came back to Georgia!

Lack of communication

I reached out to the property manager before arriving to ask for suggestions on area activities and was I formed that she did not know since she was just the manager.When we arrived, the back door was open. When I let the manager know she responded with thanks for letting me know?The house was dirty and did not have enough towels and the whirlpool did not work. The front door and towel holders needed maintenance. The location and size was great.And neighbors were friendly

Great Location

This was in a great location. Host was great with communication. The cleanliness of the property was lacking. Surfaces, towels, and linens were clean. However, there were dust webs on walls and ceilings. A coffee filter with coffee on the bookshelf. One of the toilet paper holders hanging off the wall. It states there is WiFi, but when I asked the host about connectivity issues, they said they were aware and hadn’t got it fixed. The house is beautiful, and very spacious. Very close to base. We were just disappointed in cleanliness. I informed the host of the issues and they stated they were going to inform housekeeping.

Family

Traveled for turning green ceremony with family from close and far. We had an amazing weekend reuniting, playing games, had some tennis and softball fun in the yard, BBQ dinner. It was such a great place for all of us to stay and be comfy! Close distance to Fort Benning. We would definitely stay again. Just one change needed: the username for the WIFI
 lol.. nothing inappropriate it was just a fun rival haha! Thank you for providing a nice home for a memorable weekend! Book It!

Close to Base and Spacious

Stayed here with my extended family for an Army graduation. The house was spacious and close to base. Would recommend staying here.

This is a mixed review. The house was huge and well lit and welcoming. But we smelled mold in the kids’ room and one other guest room. The kitchen floor wasn’t clean and the towels were dirty in the bathrooms. I found hair in my bed. Yet the price per night was great. We probably wouldn’t stay there again.
