This little rustic log home is located in the wooded area of our property next to the Sunny Hill. It is equipped with everything needed to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Even though you are only a few miles away from all the area attractions like Turner Falls Park, the Chickasaw National Park, Chickasaw Cultural Center and only a mile from Lake of the Arbuckles this little home will let you relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of mountain life.

Quiet Little Get Away

We had a great stay! Loved all the shade and the AC was on when we got there so it was nice and cool. Wasn’t far from any of the places we wanted to explore. Quiet and peaceful, just like we were wanting.

Weekend Trip

Me and the misses came to the area to spend some time at Crossbar Ranch for the weekend. Cabin was great for the two of us. Communication with property management was great and quick to reply to messages. Would stay here again on next trip.

Trip to Davis

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. There was an issue discovered shortly after our arrival but the owner responded to my email within minutes and took care of everything despite the very late hour. Next time we visit the area I plan on booking again.

Birthday Getaway

Stopped by and stayed the weekend for an early birthday celebration and was not disappointed. The cabin is tucked out of the way in a very small/quiet town. The cabin was as advertised and had all the essentials for a stay. The host was very kind and very attentive. Will be back soon :)

Just What we Needed

If you’re looking for an outdoorsy little cabin, this is for you. It had everything we needed- comfy bed, hot shower, kitchen utensils. We loved that it was pet friendly and it is in walking and driving distance to hiking. We did a short two-day getaway just to spend some time outside and this fit our needs perfectly.

Cabin is fine, location is great. Seriously could use a chair or a sofa less than 70 years old. Some tables for luggage would be nice too.

With just a few minor changes and I could rate lots higher. No place to hang clothes; no night stands by bed (needed for CPAP’s, clock, etc); little seating but plenty of room; bathroom not arranged well; bathroom needs shelving for toiletries; did not have a hair dryer even though listed one; kitchen needs potholder and dishrag; had to strip bed, wash and put away dishes, take out trash, hang towels

Great weekend Getaway

Overall this was an amazing stay! Very clean and cozy. Location is close to great restaurants, diners as well as activities. We went to Turner Falls and the drive thru safari. There were just a couple of broken kitchen chairs and would have been nice to have 1 more clean blanket for sleeping on the couch. No hesitation to go again. We will book again on our next trip if available. Owner is responsive and internet works! I had to log into work and had no connection interruptions. Thank you!

Not super happy

Cabin was not clean,hair and dirt all over the bathroom shower rug and floor,hair in the sheets of the bed. TV remote did not work,ceiling fan remote did not work. Overall a bad experience. We rented for 2 night but left afyer the first night. We will not return.

Too expensive for the amenities

Doesn’t technically sleep four. If someone sleeping on the sofa needs to use the restroom they have to go through the bedroom. The place was filthy with bugs crawling around and why did we have to take out the trash and clean the place when we have to pay for a cleaning service. The fire pit was a joke, rusted , falling apart ring full of wet ashes and no matches. The back porch had an old empty hot tub, not sure why. Pictures were definitely nothing like the actual place. Would not ever stay there again. The host would not answer text messages consistently. We almost left after the first night and asked for refund for one night. I still think that we should get half of our money back.

The cabin has been painted since your photo of it was taken. We weren’t sure we had the right place. There were hornets swarming around the front porch but, fortunately, you had left Raid bug spray. Light bulbs were missing or burned out but you dropped some bulbs off as well as provided a coffee carafe. Some of the kitchen chairs had no seat. Occasionally we could smell either sewage or a dead animal. We used the bar stools as night stands. I don’t believe your cleaning crew is giving you your money’s worth. The ceiling fan blades are filthy and the artificial plants are too. The kitchen table centerpiece candle has no wick and the battery powered candles do not have any batteries. The cabin and grounds need more attention.
