Welcome to your riverside retreat at Cowichan Lake! This cozy 1-bedroom suite offers the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and unbeatable access to the natural beauty of the Cowichan River.

Ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families, this suite is designed to provide a peaceful and relaxing escape while being conveniently located in downtown Lake Cowichan.
The open-concept living area features a comfortable sofa that’s perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the great outdoors and then transforms into a cozy queen-size bed for a restful sleep. Large windows flood the space with natural light, while offering calming views of the surrounding nature. For your entertainment, there’s a flat-screen smart TV, perfect for quiet movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows.

The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to prepare light meals during your stay. You'll find a fridge, induction cooktop, air fryer, microwave, toaster, and a coffee maker, along with all the essentials for simple meal prep. Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy it outside by the river, or use the shared BBQ area for an evening cookout.

The bedroom is complete with a queen-sized bed, twin bunk-beds and soft linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Wake up refreshed, ready to enjoy the day's adventures, whether you plan to explore local hiking trails, relax by the river, or visit nearby wineries. The private bathroom includes a shower and tub, fresh towels, and complimentary shampoo and conditioner to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The magic of this suite extends outside, where you’ll have shared access to the property’s beautiful common areas. Spend your afternoons relaxing on the shared riverside dock, perfect for swimming, kayaking, or simply soaking up the sun. At night, relax under the stars in the communal firepit area. Guests can also enjoy the shared games room, a fun space to unwind after a day out exploring, grab a book or a board game and relax. For guests bringing bikes, an outdoor bike rack is available on site for convenient storage between rides and adventures.

The host was great and very accommodating. The property was beautiful and right in town, close to all amenities. The unit had everything you need and was very spacious and clean. We will definitely come back.

Lovely rainy weekend stay

It was great to spend even a rainy weekend in Cowichan by the river, and during fall. The owners were helpful and responsive. The place was clean and although small, was thoughtfully appointed.

Newly renovated, clean, but somewhat small suites with kitchenettes. The hosts were prompt with answers to any questions, and helpful with suggestions. Check in was easy, no hassles. We had fishing clients from Japan stay here who could walk to any of the close by restaurants. I would book here again for sure.

We wished we could have stayed longer.

Riverside is in a beautiful quiet setting on the river. The units have been refurbished and are very well stocked. We also had the use of a communal barbecue. We loved sitting on the private dock and chatting with other guests. It was a perfect getaway!

Fabulous family weekend getaway

We stayed here for a quick family R&R and it was perfect, this spot is an absolute gem. The water is so clean and warm, great coffee shop right next door and you can float down the river. The check-in process & communication could use some work but the host said that it was the VRBO platform issue so not much they could do on their end. We will definitely be back here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a clean, well equipped waterfront accommodation!
