Belle chambre Ă  coucher de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain au bord de l'eau sur un petit lac calme dans le nord de l'État de New York dans la ville de Hampton (pas sur le lac George), Ă  5 km. de la frontiĂšre VT, Ă  35 miles du village de Lake George, avec une vĂ©randa grillagĂ©e. Plan d'Ă©tage ouvert, maison privĂ©e, disponible toute l'annĂ©e. Profitez d'un bon livre sur notre terrasse pendant que le soleil couchant se reflĂšte sur l'eau. À l'automne, le feuillage se reflĂšte sur le lac; en hiver, le poĂȘle Ă  bois vous garde bien au chaud et vous rĂ©chauffe lorsque vous rentrez du patinage ou du ski x / c. Notre sectionnel en cuir est un endroit idĂ©al pour regarder un film Ă  la fin de votre journĂ©e, ou lire un livre pendant que vos enfants travaillent sur un puzzle sur notre grande table basse. Profitez du lac privĂ© sur notre canoĂ«, kayak, pĂ©dalo ou notre plus rĂ©cent ajout, un stand up paddleboard. Ce sont d'excellentes vacances en famille, qui peuvent inclure votre chien de famille bien Ă©levĂ©, si vous ne pouvez pas supporter de le laisser derriĂšre. Notre chambre principale avec un lit moelleux et king-size et une salle de bain principale est en bas, avec deux chambres supplĂ©mentaires et une autre salle de bain Ă  l'Ă©tage, ce qui facilite le partage avec un autre couple ou famille, tout en gardant l'intimitĂ©. Vous pouvez vous dĂ©tendre et profiter du cadre paisible, ou lorsque vous ĂȘtes revigorĂ© et prĂȘt Ă  explorer, Lake George Village est Ă  un peu plus d'une demi-heure, avec de grands bateaux fluviaux pour visiter le lac, des restaurants et des magasins. Manchester, VT est la Mecque de Designer Outlet, ou faites une excursion d'une journĂ©e dans de charmantes villes VT comme Middlebury, Ludlow, Brattleboro, ou Burlington, la prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©e de tous. Il y a une grande Ă©quitation et un rodĂ©o saisonnier Ă  Pond Hill Ranch Ă  seulement 20 minutes, et la maison de Green Mountain College (Poultney, VT) a une piste ferroviaire pour la randonnĂ©e, la marche de chien, le vĂ©lo, le ski x / c ou la raquette, juste 10 minutes. Peaceful location, exactly what we were looking for to be with our grownup children. We simply relaxed, played games, enjoyed the pond and had great food all in the in one location. We enjoyed the front deck, when it got too hot we enjoyed the closed-in porch.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The location was perfect with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was magical. The house itself was well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, and the living area was cozy with plenty of seating. We loved the direct access to the lake from the backyard. Our favorite part was the private dock—we spent time swimming, kayaking, and just relaxing by the water. The outdoor seating area was also great for evening barbecues and stargazing. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing clear instructions and local recommendations. We truly felt welcomed and would love to come back in the future!

We spent a magical week at the pond house. Loved the screened in porch, deck, yard, pond. Our grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and boats - with loads of fishing and swimming. There are all kinds of things to explore/enjoy in the area. We can’t wait to come back for another visit!

This beautiful lake side home was the perfect place to just relax and enjoy nature. The hosts thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. The property was just gorgeous and so peaceful! Highly recommend this place to all!

A home away from home

Our stay was exactly what was to be expected as advertised and more! It was a great layout, old yet charming and clean. All the water activity boats and fishing gear made for an unforgettable stay! We loved it so much, we tried to book it again in August but they are booked through summer!

Great getaway

My family and I were able to get away for a few days and this was the perfect spot. Our one year old loved the birds and the view was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

getaway to quiet time

great place to stay. fishing was a ten lot of bass caught . nice setup for 2 family stay. plenty of room for dogs too at any size from small to large. we will be back. just too short of stay for us. the setup was great.

Lovely getaway.

Cozy cottage tucked back on a lovey private pond. The dogs swam to their hearts content and we had a great time fishing. It sits on a hill, and is a little challenging to access, but totally worth the effort. We loved sitting out on the screened porch in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful place

We really enjoyed our stay. The screened in porch was my favorite and where I spent most of my time. The bed was comfortable and the home was clean. Really appreciate them also accommodating my date range for the stay as well.

Relaxing Get away

This is our third time stay at the lake. It’s so relaxing to sit on the dock and listen to and watch the wildlife. We enjoy using the kayaks and paddle board on the premises and cooking out on the grill. We have to bring very few things with us as the house has most of what we need for our stay.

Beautiful setting

Family enjoyed the lovely well equipped home, not to mention the beautiful view. We kayaked, swam, hiked and watched the birds from the wonderful screened in porch. Very relaxing.

Perfect family get away

Loved staying here. It was so nice having a fully stocked kitchen for cooking purposes and being right on the water was even better. My family and I had a great time here and would definitely rent again I loved that there was a VHS player there with a bunch of VHS tapes to watch! Thank you!

Quiet retreat

A very quiet location with parking for two cars. The house is cozy and the beds were comfortable. It was fall and there were many orchards with pick-your-own options. The only down side is the house is on a steep slope so loading and unloading the car was some work as well as getting to the water. Enjoy feeding the jays peanuts. They'll remind you.

We love our times here at the lake, but can only enjoy it occasionally. We'd love to find people that will be able to come up and enjoy this little slice of paradise, instead of having it sit empty, waiting for our next visit. We are empty nesters, until the kids and grandkids all come back to visit, so we're always on the go. When we're not working at our IT desk jobs, we love biking, boating, x/c skiing, kayaking, and just about anything outdoors. We go every other year to Europe on a bike and boat adventure; that's our favorite way to combine our love of boating and the water, along with biking.

We wanted to find a lake that was peaceful and not crowded with everyone on top of each other. Compared to other properties we looked at, this one couldn't be beat.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love that we can enjoy it year round. My husband is a swimmer, so once the water warms up, he swims from one end to the other every day we're at the lake. In the winter, our grandkids come up and tube down our hillside onto the frozen lake, and we skate, snowshoe and x/c ski. In the fall, the views of the foliage are great, as well as the hiking at Haystack Mountain just 25 minutes away.
