The Space:

From the moment you enter, the 14-foot ceilings create an immediate sense of spaciousness and understated elegance.

Abundant natural light fills the space, creating a warm, cozy, and vibrant atmosphere throughout.



The fully equipped kitchen, stocked with high-quality cookware and state-of-the-art appliances, is ideal for guests who enjoy cooking and sharing meals.



The master bedroom, featuring an en-suite bathroom, offers a serene sanctuary designed for deep rest and tranquility.

*Please note that only the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom does not have a bathroom on the same level and requires going downstairs to access the bathroom on the ground floor.



If additional sleeping space is needed, Ona is equipped with a full-size futon bed located in the living room, allowing the property to accommodate 2 additional guests if required.

Guest Access:

Casa Macu is located in the best area of the amazing La Saladita beach, 2 minutes walk from the surf break.



The kitchen has the essentials for cooking (olive oil, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, coffee).



To ensure the proper functioning of the water treatment plant, at Casa Macu we provide guests with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and dish soap.



All bungalows have access to a surfboards rack, bathroom and outside showers.

The Neighborhood:

La Saladita offers one of the best surf spots in the world; its waves are consistent throughout the year. It is an exceptional place for both beginners and advanced surfers, since in the surroundings there are a great variety of waves for all levels.

Getting Around:

La Saladita is a walkable community. Restaurants and the surf spot are close to Casa Macu and it is not necessary to rent a car.



If you want to buy things to eat you can stop at the supermarket in Zihuatanejo (Mega Soriana, near the airport) or once you are in the area, buy basic things in the stores of the nearest town (Los Llanos).



If your level of surfing is intermediate or advanced, renting a car will allow you to visit other nearby surf spots.



For taxi service, ask for the contact number. Casa Macu has a preferential rate for transfers from the airport to La Saladita, as well as a car rental company that offers a very good service.



Other Things to Note:

Caring for the environment is very important to us, which is why Casa Macu has equipment for power generation and solar water heating, a water treatment plant, and a waste separation process.

Bookings canceled at least 60 days before check-in will receive 93% refund. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before check-in will receive a 43% refund.

b) We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID, as well as pay a refundable deposit or a non-refundable waiver that covers you for accidental damage through Know Your Guest (Truvi).





**Pet rules & Pet Security Deposit**



Ona is now bungalow pet friendly! We love dogs, but as you can imagine, it's challenging to keep the place in good condition when pets are allowed. Please help us take care of the place following the next rules for your dog,



1. Share with us information about your dog:

- What breed and size is your dog?

- Is it a trained and well behaved?



2. Pets are not allowed to sleep or rest on the couch, beds or any other furniture.



3. Do not use kitchen dishes or utensils to feed your pet.



4. Pets are not allowed to use the plunge pool.



4. Please keep your dog under your supervision.



6. Pick up your pet's droppings immediately and dispose of them properly in the designated trash bin. This is essential to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests.



6. Do not use Casa Macu towels to dry your pet.



8. Keep your dog with a leash when using common areas.



9. Help us honor the silent hours in Casa Macu. If your dog is barking please assist your pet.



10. As part of the check-in process you'll need to cover the $500 usd Pet Security Deposit refundable after your stay.

La Saladita is a rural area surrounded by nature and wildlife, so it’s normal to hear animals and occasionally see insects, especially in tropical climates and indoor–outdoor spaces. Our team maintains the bungalows with frequent cleaning, regular compost removal, monthly fumigation, and ongoing upkeep to keep everything in great condition.



If you notice ants, insects, drainage issues, or anything that needs attention, please let us know right away and we’ll gladly assist. To help prevent insects, we kindly ask guests to keep food sealed and avoid leaving it out.



Interaction with Guests:

Guests will receive pre-arrival check-in instructions, as well as property access codes. During the reservation we will be aware of the messages to address the concerns of the guests.



The cleaning and maintenance staff visits the property 3 times a week. This allows us to keep the house in good condition, provide maintenance and ensure that the experience of the guests is of quality.
