Cozy Country Cottage; Family Retreat Just minutes from Circle T

Our Cottage was designed for beauty and functionality. Walls are covered in shiplap and bead board, ceilings in pine. We put as many windows as we could to enjoy the outdoors and bring light inside. We see sleep as a main priority in traveling. All bedrooms have blackout curtains and their own mini split heating/cooling unit with individual thermostats. We took a short break from hosting, however, previously we were a Premier Host with VRBO, earning great reviews and 3 years of experience.

We are located on a quiet county street easy to find about a mile off 281, just North of town. We have parking for 2 on our front drive way and room for more cars and/or horse trailers next door.

The kitchen is good sized with all amenities, including Keurig and coffee pods, and a full size coffee maker, along with sugar and creamer. Dishes include place-setting for 12.

In the Living Room there is an electric fireplace with a remote control that also heats, super cozy for those cool evenings!

The gas grill is in the backyard and utensils are in the pantry.

While we list this as a family retreat, we see our Cozy Country Cottage great for other retreats as well, church retreats, artist and writer's retreats etc. Your comfort and enjoyment of our Cottage is our top priority.

We were delighted with this small, but well-thought out home. Four adults easily felt at home using the three bedrooms, we never had any issues with hot water or heat, as we were there during a very cold spell of temps in the upper 20s and 30s. As the driveway is not paved, I would recommend a dedicated place near the front door for shoes. Also, the batteries for the fireplace remote need replacing, as well as some lightbulbs in the lamps. Even still, we loved our stay and will use it again for our next stay in Hamilton. Thank you!

Super cute with attention to details

This place was super cute. My teens wouldn’t even sleep in the bedrooms because they insisted on staying in the loft. They had everything we needed and didn’t skimp on the extras. We really appreciated the place and will use it in the future.

Daughter's baby shower

The place was clean, well furnished and very cozy. Everyone enjoyed it. I had difficulty with the TV at first, but the owner was quick to respond to my questions. They were also very accommodating, allowing me to check in a couple of hours early as I had arrived earlier than expected, and with groceries. I will definitely revisit and recommend the cottage to others!

Amazing and accommodating stay

My sister had her wedding planned at a ranch outside of Hico and Hamilton. We are so happy this place was available near her venue. The location is remote but the house is adorable and fully stocked with anything we could possibly need. Truly above and beyond. Thank you to Michael who reached out as soon as cell service went out to make himself available.

Great little place.

Overall this was a perfect spot and great location for Circle T Arena. Only reason for the less than perfect review is because the door code was sent with a typo and caused significant delay getting into the house. However, once inside, it was perfect! To Michael’s defense, we did arrive middle of the night so getting in touch with them was a bit of a challenge however understandable.

Great Cottage close to Circle T

The cottage was perfect for our weekend stay for a horse competition. Michael & Julie were available for all my questions. Very clean and cute. My only regret was we weren't there long enough to enjoy the kitchen and porch areas.

Hamilton Cottage

We had three children, one teen and six adults and the house fit us all comfortably. It is also very clean and quite attractive. We received Great communication from the renter as well. It is a good location for visiting the surrounding areas such as Hico, Waco, Meridian and the Circle T arena. We will most likely stay here again for future gatherings of our family in the Hamilton area.

Hamilton Hide Away

Our stay was wonderful! The cottage was so neat and tidy and very clean. The decor and furniture were very unique and quaint. The addition of the Christmas tree was the icing on the cake! We enjoyed everything very much! If we are ever in Hamilton again we will stay again.
