Very easy check in. Location was great. Condo fully equipped. Loved the beach chairs as we used them everyday at the beach right in front of property. Grocery store across the street also an added bonus. Scott maintenance tech was very quick to fix garbage disposal. Would definitely stay here againThank you.

Lovely stay

It was perfect! Great grounds, room was well equipped and even had an ice chest and beach chairs. Felt at home!

The resort was great, the pools were awesome and the beach is wavy but swimmabl even with 2 yound kids. The location of the suite is a mi ute walk from the pool which was awesome and I loved being on the ground floor while our baby napped we would sit out there. Now for the consistency, the sofa bed is incredibly uncomfortable, you can literally feel all the springs, I had back and neck pain the whole trip the whole time. I would suggest changing that sofa bed asap. Also a beach wagon would have been really useful for going to the beach. Also a mop. We had the toilet back up on day one and they sent maintenance pretty quickly so that was nice.

Great property

This was our second stay at Kaanapali Shores. The entire complex is clean and beautiful and great for families. This unit was in excellent condition and having the ground level access was awesome. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will likely be back for a third stay sometime next year.

Love this place

This was our second staycation in this unit and i couldn’t love it more. I look forward to making this an annual thing. Perfect for a family with young children.

Kaanapali Family Vacation

Our whole stay was comfortable and the management company was friendly, helpful, and responsive even after hours. The condo location was great, ground level access from outside, very short walk to the ocean, and near the pool which was ideal with a 7 & 10 year old. Family friendly pool and also a deeper pool were great features for our group. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a good time but, this isn't our 1st visit to Maui and staying at the Ka'anapali Shores. Our attitude is that if you didn't have fun on Maui, it's your own fault.Room was clean and there were adequate supplies of DW & laundry pods.

Great location!

We had a great time at Kaanapali Shores. The property itself is great between the pools and grounds. The ocean accessibility and snorkeling right off the beach is great. Tons of great food options within walking distance including the food truck court. We also really enjoyed walking up the Kaanapali boardwalk to visit some of the other great beaches and parks along the coast. All love to Lahaina right now.

Wonderful-10/10

This was an amazing property, and a lovely accommodation. The unit was well stocked with everything you would need for your entire vacation, it was clean, and the location was perfect. The photos online represent the unit well. We were so happy staying there it was hard to leave. Don’t miss happy hour at the Beach Bar, lots of fun! Wi-Fi was great, and the ground floor was really nice. If we return to Maui we will 100% book this unit. What a treasure!

Great room. Love the convenience of the ground floor

Loved being on the ground floor with quick access to the pool and beach. But still it was quite private and not too much noise from the pool. The room had all necessary beach things like chairs, noodles and cooler. I do wish the room had a safe for valuables. Both pools were for families and we would have appreciated an adults only option.

Nice resort, comfortable apartment

Great relaxed resort; two pools; one with view on the ocean (plenty of whales in Feb 2025) and one in the garden. Good restaurant. Across the street is a supermarket, food trucks and a handful small restaurants. Would recommend Dukes Beach house, great restaurant, just 10 mins walk. Nice beaches, we loved Napili, just 3 miles down the road. Apartment itself is on ground floor and is very good. Comfortable queen bed; and coach sofa of 1 or 2 kids. Full kitchen, towel service. All you need to do is relax and explore the island. Great choice!

Definitely home away from home

Hassle free from beginning til end. Everything you will ever need from a stress free vacation. From communication with the property team to the rooms cleanliness. The condo and the resort far exceeded our expectations. The location is superb. There’s a grocery across the resort for your errands and food trucks right next to the resort which serves lunch and dinner. Oh, and the room was just a minute away from the beach! What???

Perfect location!!!

Great place for kids. They can just walk out and explore. Pool is short distance but far enough to not hear everything. Great little stream and flowers that surround the pool. Not as crowded as neighboring resorts which we liked - it was spacious.. Everything works great inside. We did have a little leak from the wash unit from upstairs and facilities responded right away. We had no problems washing clothes. Would definitely stay again! Mahalo

Perfect for young kiddos

The ground level, and yard was perfect for our 4 year-old. Just steps from both pools and the beach. Not a good Beach for Kiddos, but there are several kid friendly beaches near by. We had a few issues that were addressed very quickly, the communication with property managers was outstanding. Bathroom could use a little cleaning, the drop ceiling has Bugs in the panels and the shower has a little mold in it. But other then that, the place was perfect for us.

I just think that even when a place is old it should be well taken care of and without broken cabinets and dirty drop ceiling tiles in the bathroom. We appreciated having chairs and a cooler. It was also helpful to have some items like salt and pepper. The property is lovely, but unfortunately there was construction going on right near our room. Thankfully that was only Monday- Thursday. We had a wonderful time, but would not rent this particular unit again.

Needs updating

This unit has an updated kitchen/living room however the bedroom and bathroom really could be updated. The entire unit needs painted and 10 days is to long to go without housekeeping. For the rate that should be included. There is also a separate fee for part, the gym, etc. seems compared to other properties this is expensive for what you get.

Overall Outstanding

This place was everything and more! Beautiful property, great location, overall outstanding! The only negative thing I have to say is that they do not allow check in's before 4:00pm regardless if the unit is ready. This poses an issue, because you have no where to store your bags upon arrival. The front desk will not hold them for you either because it is a private unit. I called and tried everything to ask them to allow us to put bags in unit, the answer was no. So we spent 4 hours pushing our bags all over in the heat and no way to store them. I think it would be good to have some sort of option worked out with the front desk for this. Other than that, it was a fabulous stay

Great for family on a budget

Property was nice and in a great location. Walking distance to shopping and a few restaurants. Easy to get in and out of by car and visit other places. Beach was nice and not over crowded. Pool was great for kids and amenities were just what we needed. You could rent just about any beach gear needed, and the condo came with chairs, one puddle jumper (perfect for my daughter), snorkels and ice chest. Due to construction, noise was a bit much, but couldn’t be helped. Overall I would go back, would just like the room to be cleaner upon arrival (we cleaned when we got there). I would recommend getting a new mattress for the condo, the one in the master was not for me, but my husband slept fine.

The property was nice and the condo was great but the bathroom was in much need of repairs the bathtub caulking was covered in black mold as well as the bottom of the shower curtain the bugs in the ceiling tiles over the sink needs to removed otherwise we were happy with the rest I did report this issue with the property manager so hopefully it’s dealt with !!
