Come relax and get away from the chaos at a newly renovated Lakehouse on Lake Mattoon. This beautiful lake front property, with room for your boat on the dock, sleeps 8 comfortably. The main floor is open concept with a wall of windows to enjoy the Lake view. Step out on the covered patio and enjoy some relaxation time. The lower floor is spacious and open with a small kitchenette, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and access to directly to the lake. Washer and dryer on site. Come enjoy a welcome escape anytime of year!

We had an incredible time on lake Mattoon. My 18 year old son was shocked at how cool the place was and layed out. Lakeside in a clean well funished home. I can't say enough of how great the stay was. We will be back!

Family Gathering

A nice and quiet home with a lot of space and comfortable accommodations. The access to the lake was wonderful as we had family close that could boat over .The back porch area was great and enjoyed by adults as well as the children in our group . The communication with the hosts was great and any questions were answered quickly .A great place to stay and hope to visit again in the future.

House is beautiful!! Very clean and well stocked. The view from the backyard balcony is amazing!! My Mom and I sat out there for hours every morning drinking our coffee and taking it all in, even in the rain. Erin and Ryan were easy to contact and very accommodating!!! Highly recommend!!!

The house is very accommodating & very clean. There were plug in air fresheners all over that were way too strong. The deck/patio was full of cobwebs & BBQ grill was extremely dirty. Other then that was a wonderful place to gather with my family

Beautiful location and lake, great space, needs TLC

We loved the space, location, lake and how responsive the owners were. The grill was unusable as there was no drip pan and this was something that I asked about before going. There were tons of cobwebs and bugs all over the outdoor chairs and outside of the house. There wasn't any hot tub or game room as the listing stated. The inside was clean but it would be nice if they could provide a broom or dustpan to clean up after ourselves when needed. We would stay here again we all had a great time!!

Relaxing at the lake

Our family of four and a baby enjoyed our stay in the lakehouse on Lake Mattoon. Communication was easy with the owner. A beautiful four bedroom home. The basement temperature was very cool even in July. The master bedroom is upstairs and three bedrooms are in the basement, one being smaller than the other two. There are two and a half baths and a nice laundry room. We had six towels, washcloths and hand towels. Bring your own beach towels as they are not provided. There was a bait bucket, a second refrigerator downstairs and a third large refrigerator in the garage. The garage is huge! We used and cleaned the grill. We refilled the propane down at the nearby marina. It was more costly but super convenient. There were a couple of fishing poles but we did not use them. Both deck and downstairs porch were nicely covered. There are approx. six upright lawn chairs and a small fire pit. The couches are very comfortable and so are the beds. The boat dock was awesome. We would stay again, although the property is for sale. Great way to Vrbo and try it out!

Absolutely beautiful home and awesome hosts. A great home away from home for our family. Our Granddaughters even caught her first fish in Lake Mattoon. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well equipped and the patio with the firepit was perfect for relaxing evenings. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Thanks for hosting our family for our uncles memorial.
