There are 2 heat pumps in my home. There is one condenser outside, so both interior splits must be set to the same function: heat or cool, not auto.
Always turn the dryer timer/sensor clockwise. Thanks! There is a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker and a small grinderavailable.
Dogs are restricted on the beach during 9 - 5 during the summer months, May 25th to Sept. 15th. Leashed dogs are allowed outside of those hours.

This house was perfect. We had a small family vacation with people ranging 25-74. Was nice to have the extra room to spread around the house and everyone could have their own space. Well located house, views and access to the beach was great. Mornings and evenings were spent on the porch. We explored towns both and south of Biddeford, as well as its cute downtown. House was clean. Well stocked. It was a solid house - not a creak to be heard. Martha was great. She always quickly responded to my messages before and during the trip. Including a request to be let in early. We arrived on a rainy day and our original plans to explore Portland and Biddeford were sort of a bust. Got in an hour early which was nice to be in a dry location.

This property is incredible! The view was amazing and I loved sitting on the porch drinking my coffee every morning. The access to the beach wasn’t far away and easily accessible. The house was the perfect size for our family. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed throughout the entire stay! We will be staying here again. Thank you!

Great house and location

We loved this house and its proximity to the beach. The house is well stocked: kitchen (nice welcome gift of coffee and snacks), beach toys and cart, outdoor hose, towels. We’d love to stay there again someday.

Great spot by Fortunes Rock

Perfect house for our party of 4 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had a place to sleep and plenty of room to stretch out. Great location as it’s only a short 5 minute walk to fortune’s rock beach. Only a 10-15 drive either way to restaurants in Kennebunkport and downtown Biddeford. The house was well appointed. Our host Martha was very communicative. Would definitely come back.

What a Gift

Martha was so amazingly accommodating!! Even when a professional conference was rescheduled on my end, she was willing to rebook my vacation (at no charge) in her beautiful home to a Monday - Monday rental in order to make it work for us.The home is extremely well stocked. Our family lacked for nothing. Quick walk to a beautiful beach.Hope to rent here with Martha again and again

Family getaway

Beautiful setting in the woods but steps away from the Atlantic Ocean. Our friends in the area were a short drive away. We also visited Portland and Boothbay Harbor. Great places and delicious restaurants to eat in.

Lovely home, perfect stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Martha’s place. It was clean, comfortable and had so many little things that made our stay amazing. Extra towels, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs and so much more! We truly felt at home and the location (walking distance to the beach) close to many popular towns (Portland, Kennebunkport, Ogunquit) was absolutely perfect! Be sure to visit Rover Bagels in downtown Biddeford and don’t miss out on dinner at Bandaloop or Ore Nells BBQ! We will definitely be back again!

Perfect house for a family getaway!

We stayed during off season (Thanksgiving) great value overall, excellent location. The kitchen was well stocked (enough for a Traditional Thanksgiving dinner) tons of space and several sitting rooms to allow us to spread out. Will rent here again!

Wonder weekend stay!

We so enjoyed our weekend stay here! She had everything we needed & this place made it feel so comfy & like home. Location is great! Between Portland & Kennebunkport, easily accessible to lots of places to explore & enjoy! We would stay here again!

Wonderful house and gorgeous beach!

We had such a great time at this lovely house! It was cozy and comfortable with unbeatable cleanliness. The walk to the beach was easy and the beach itself was glorious! We had so much fun walking the beach each day. My 11 year old son and I spent hours looking for cool rocks and sea glass. The beds were comfortable and we were able to find everything we needed in the kitchen. It was fall and the leaves were stunning and made for a lovely backdrop. My husband even spotted a deer in the back yard. Martha was great to work with and we hope to return someday soon. Thank you, Martha for a wonderful stay! We cannot wait for a return trip!

Great Trip

This home was fantastic. Very clean, well maintained and accommodating to our needs. The location was perfect being so close to the beach and the shore. Beautiful hideaway near the beach

We were in the area for Parents Weekend at UNE and this house is conveniently located 5 minutes from campus. Our daughter is a first year, so being able to spend some time away from her dorm room was a blessing for her. The house had everything we needed as a home base for the weekend. We appreciated the host leaving us coffee - that was the extent of our cooking while we were there, but the kitchen had everything you'd need. The house had a beachy feel to it, but it was not a small beach house. The bedrooms were big, as were the bathrooms. We loved the binder provided by the host with menus and things to do in the area (might be time to update some of the menus).

A Wonderful Home by the Sea

The house was very spacious. The woodsy setting makes it feel so cozy. We felt at home very quickly. The owner was very welcoming & responded quickly when we had a question. She allows pets, which is perfect for us- our daughter came for a few days with her dog. It's just a few steps from Fortunes Rocks Beach so we had a lot of beach walks. We would stay here again!

Fabulous Home Close to the Beach

Absolutely fabulous home, beautifully appointed. Quiet and peaceful, and so close to Fortunes Rocks Beach. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch with ocean views.... We will return!

Incredible!!

Having been born & raised in this area, anyone who stays at Fortune Rocks will be getting a true gem. Enjoyed daily walks with our dog on the beach, which we all loved. I would often walk the beach at 5 am, to pure delight. The house is fully stocked for cooking, from eating lobster to making coffee. It is quiet, very peaceful. We had a great 30 days. Thank you Martha!!
