Fabulous kitchen and dining area, cozy living room with views to Eldborg Crater, comfortable 5 bedrooms with all new beds, 2 bathrooms, outdoor barbecue and Amazing mountain views in all directions. Walking distance to three rivers; NĂșpĂĄ, ÞverĂĄ and HaffjarĂ°arĂĄ River. Close by is the beautiful SnĂŠfellsnes Peninsula and SnĂŠfellsjökull National Park with many beautiful nature attractions.

The house was immaculate and modern, had absolutely everything we needed and check in/ check out was flawless. The hot tub is huge and we enjoyed using it. The location is very secluded but just what we wanted in an attempt to see some northern lights from the hot tub which is exactly what happened on our last night. Spectacular.

Stunning views! House was perfect for our family and had amazing views! The hot tub was incredible after a day of hiking/exploring! Woke up to sheep right out the front door in the morning! Saw northern lights both nights!Highly recommend a stay here!

Amazing hosts and house!

All the communication with Heidi and Rob was outstanding.The house was better than we anticipated. We had 10 adults and we all fit very well. The hot tub was so great after long days of exploring and hiking. The house was very modern and well laid out. The week we stayed with them happened to be one of the warmest on record. I contacted the host because the house was very warm at night, they were so kind and brought a couple of fans over which helped. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful home with a lot of privacy

Sitting in the sparkling clean hot pool on the porch at night in the frigid air and gazing at the sky was incredible. House was huge and rooms were big - could fit a lot of people comfortably. Beds were very comfy too!

Great Place to Disconnect

Remote Location but a great place to disconnect from the world and enjoy the scenic view of the mountains all while taking a dip in the hot tub making it for a tranquil environment. you might be able to get a chance to view the northern light assuming the weather conidition is good for it

Lovely stay at Hrossholt on Snaefellsnes Peninsula

This house is very clean, warm, inviting and modern. It has a great kitchen, comfortable rooms and beautiful views from the hot tub. It allows for a great relaxing time with family after driving the ring road. The weather was beautiful AND we saw the northern lights which was the highlight of our trip. Great hosts who communicated well. We highly recommend this property.

This is by far the BEST home rental we have ever had! It far exceeded our expectations, especially after renting similar places in other parts of Iceland for our group of 10. Our whole family would have loved to stay more to enjoy this home! It is modern, specious, well laid out and well furnished. The surrounding nature is beautiful and breathtaking. The hosts have clearly documented instructions about everything and even have a full map of Iceland and a visitor guide for easy reference! There is temperature control in every room. There were plenty of towels! This home made our whole Iceland trip worthwhile.

Also the short distance to the town Borgarnes and StykkishĂłlmur, where you can find all necessities, and to the Capital ReykjavĂ­k, is a very big advantage.

Peacefulness - You can sit outside on the terrace or walk around the house and enjoy the nature and the amazing mountain view in the peaceful surroundings.

Location - The location of the house is ideal for exploring the west side of Iceland, especially SnÊfellsnes peninsula. There are short driving distances to many beautiful places in the nature such as waterfalls, craters and the famous SnÊfellsjökull glacier with all its glory and Power. Museums and historical places are also nearby. There is only about 30 minutes drive to the nearest town, Borgarnes to the South and 30 minutes to Stykkishólmur to the North, where you can find for example a swimming pool, golf course, shops, bakery, restaurants, library and health care.
