Cambridge MN Stay

Great location for downtown Cambridge. Two block walk and you’re at downtown businesses. Easy to get to other attractions in the area. Host is excellent!

Dirty & creepy! Keypad didn’t work & we got locked out!

Pros: Close to the main town. Susan was very kind and fast with her communication…however, the cons were too great to give a good review. Cons: First of all, the entry way to the condo is an empty creepy garage. It looks like everything had been torn out and it was getting ready to renovate or something. It had a small strip of carpet leading from the garage door to the door that led to the condos (which are in the basement). The side windows to that garage were busted and also creepy looking. The condo was musty (bad smoke smell they tried to cover up with air fresheners) and not clean. In the kitchen, they left us a used dish sponge. The laundry detergent was also empty & there were no dryer sheets. The bathroom had a nearly empty bottle of hand soap, the shampoo/conditioners had hair on the bottles, the tub clogged, and we didn’t even have hot water at one point. My husband had to shower with cold water! (Susan sent someone shortly to restart the water heater) To top it all off, the keypad used to enter the main garage did not work for us the second night. This is how we learned that the locks on the windows to our room didn’t actually lock…Really disappointed that nobody was able to help us get in through the front door and to know that we left our things in an unsecured living space! Overall, I’m really sorry to say that it was a terrible stay and we will not be returning or recommending

As a professional host for over 8 years now I have never been forced to write this type of review… but given the inaccuracy of the review left by Mariah I feel compelled to do so. I encourage prospective guests looking to book this unit to read the other reviews.. Mariah spent the bulk of her time complaining about non-existent issues, parking, hot water, door lock, and etc. I believe her goal for doing so was extort me into giving her a free stay. As for the story about the door lock….there are two units that use the same garage service entrance and the other guests had no issue accessing the unit. Other hosts should definitely shy away from hosting this guest as I fear she will try the same games with you.
