Welcome to our newly remodeled chalet in beautiful Jay, VT! We are so thankful that you chose Le Chalet a' Jay to spend your vacation. We hope you and your guests have an epic experience and would like to personally thank you for choosing us!

This is a brand new, custom built, modern chalet-style house less than a half mile to Jay Peak Ski Resort. This home includes plenty of parking and a large front porch with outdoor Ski/ Ride Storage. Walk into a spacious Kitchen with a large cathedral ceiling and and an open floor plan connecting the cozy, Living Room, Full Bath and Master Bedroom with Half Bath. Master Bedroom's porch has a private, Nordic Hot Tub for unwinding. Lofted Bedroom upstairs over looks the Kitchen and Living Room.

Stayed for a week of skiing at Jay

This home is equipped with everything you could possibly need. So cozy & comfy. Hosts were very responsive. We won’t forget our first ski trip as a family!

Calm and cozy retreat

The house is exactly as pictured and was perfectly clean. It suited our family of 4 perfectly. The house has a lovely calm vibe with the relatively minimalist design, comfortable furniture and linens, and beautiful setting visible through the many windows. There is also a spacious mud room that made keeping clutter out of the living spaces easy.

Amazing house . Perfect for couple or small family. Proximity to Jay Peak was only 1/2 mile which was perfect. The place was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. The host responded quickly with any questions. Will definitely make this my go to property when in the area again.

Minutes to Jay Peak

The house is brand new, set up well and very clean and has all amenities that you need for a week stay. It is less than 5 mins to the mountain and a 5 min drive to the small Jay Village. We will definitely return.

This new/updated chalet was a superb fit for our small family--including our family dog who likes to skijor with us. The chalet is even more spacious--and yet still cozy--than the pictures might suggest to some eyes. We particularly appreciated the ski rack outside and the generous mud room, because when alpine and nordic skiing (and sometimes skijoring w/ dog) even a small family generates lots of clothing and gear that need to dry inside. I should also note how well designed and thoughtfully hosted the property is, appropriate for being on the mountain near the base of Jay Peak: it has an on-demand, back-up generator in case the grid goes out in a storm (we didn't need it), and the snowplowing of the driveway was early in the morning and whenever it snowed a few inches (a foot of snow dropped for us across four days). We weren't held up on getting to the mountain early on days with fresh snow. After our activities, the large electric fireplace was appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed. If there was one downside, for us, for this otherwise perfect property, it was just that the property is located on the main road to get to Jay Peak around the proverbial corner; it is not the kind of road for walking down a country road in the snow. But because it is the main road, the road was plowed regularly and often, so no issues with getting to the resort in snow. Communication with the hosts was responsive, clear, helpful, and friendly.

Such a gem, we didn’t want to leave!

We booked this rental mainly to accommodate our dog since Jay Peak Resort isn’t dog friendly, but we loved it so much I don’t think we’d stay at the resort if we could book here again! The location was great, practically across the street from Jay Peak, the perfect space for our family of 3 with all the comforts of home. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was great for relaxing after a day on the mountain, and the house was so tastefully decorated and furnished (there was even a Christmas tree)! The hosts were very responsive as well. 10 out of 5, highly recommend!
