The space - This is legal basement apartment with separate entrance, going through the backyard using the side-walk; thus total independent and private unit with Keyless lock making it super easy for self check-in. - This Unit is suitable for both short & long-term stays. If you plan to stay long-term (more than a month), we suggest that you firstly book to stay short time (less than > 27 days) and if both guest(s) & host feel comfortable then we offer a SPECIAL rate and provision for your long-term stay, thanks for your understanding. - The backyard PATIO with outdoor furniture provides guests with enjoyment of outdoor life, weather permitting. - FREE Parking on driveway (1st come 1st served). - SECURITY CAMERAS, which are working 24/7, are installed in the sharing areas in OUTSIDE premises only: Driveway; Main entrance video doorbell; Staircase to backdoor entrance door; and the Side-walk area. Guest access - The whole apartment is independent separate unit, available for the Guest(s) exclusively on non-sharing basis. -This unit has all upgraded amenities starting with dimmable spot lights, 65" SMART LCD, Apple TV, Coffee maker & Tea cattle, laminated flooring, full glass door, and egress window for ample sunlight and another window in the kitchen area for fresh air circulation throughout the unit; Waterfall fountain for relaxing sounds, Hair Dryer, Central AC/Heating with portable fan and heater, Fireproof Safe box, Cooktop and Hood in the kitchen area with essential crockery provided, Full Refrigerator with freezer, having separate Washer & Dryer for personal use, and Emergency First-Aid Kit to mention few items; thus, the environment is designed to be the most comfortable & peaceful around the Guest in mind during their stay to make it enjoyable experience. Other things to note Dear Guest, Before booking this private & independent unit, to help both a guest and a host to know each other, enabling comfortable and smooth stay, you're kindly requested to introduce a bit about yourself and your trip:
1) Where are you traveling from ? 2) What is the purpose of your trip (visiting, working or studying, etc.) and can you provide supported documents (traveling itinerary, VISA copy, out-of-town residence ID, Student ID...etc.) ? 3) About what time are you planning to checking in? 4) Do you have a car needing a parking spot overnight ? 5) Will you stay in 1 , 2, or max 3 person(s) ? 6) What is the relationship of occupant(s) if more than one personal ? 7) Do you intend to use / smoke medically prescribe recreational drugs ?

Decent place
Place is good if you are looking for a short term stay. Some downfalls were that the host locks the washer and dryer so you aren’t allowed to do laundry unless it’s past 7pm which wasn’t advertised in the listing. We were a bit disappointed because we booked this place for the ability to do laundry. At one point the laundry machine stopped working in the evening and the host made no accommodation. The wifi stopped working multiple times, I work from home and it was quite frustrating especially since it took him about 12 hours to fix the problem. Kitchen supplies are for very light cooking.

Safety of electrical wiring of our house and our neighborhood is top priority. we created this policy to avoid tripping electrical circuit of the home, since few guests in the past have taken advantage of the free laundry facility by keep using the washer / dryer ON for extended periods of time daily, thus tripping circuit breaker few times due to electrical wires getting excessively HOT, which is big fire hazard. This would not happen if all guests were courteous, using the laundry facility only when required responsibly, as their own home usage; 2NDLY, its common household practice to use the laundry facilities during off-peak hours on weekdays and anytime during weekends /statutory holidays to save on utilities bill --> Since you were working from Home and lived in this unit for almost 04 weeks including weekends, I think our policy to use laundry during off-peak hours is still not unreasonable demand from our guest.-> The host is working full-time employee, not from home, therefore, unless its it emergency situation, any normal rectification request to be address in-person can only be process after reaching the house from work-site; However, we are always ONE text /phone call away to provide prompt guidance. --> During strong rain, snow storms, harsh weather conditions, its job of the utilities company and Internet service provide to resume their service as early as possible, the home owner can only perform the active follow-ups, rest is beyond anyone controls.
