Nice location, quaint apartment, bed was comfortable, my only issue was when I went to use the microwave. It blew a fuse and could not use anything in the apartment. I only had one space heater running, so couldn’t figure out what caused it. I messaged the owner that morning about this and still have not heard back after several days.

Hello Jason, thank you for your nice words about my place, and for about the issue you had with fuse; you texted me at 5am in the morning before you leave to the airport and I saw the msg at 8am, so what the point of me replying to your message and show you how to fix the fuse! You didn't mention that I have replied and answered all your other msgs throughout your stay!

Host had excellent communication, apartment was clean and nicely appointed, though a little well worn in spots. Beautiful yard and pool. It's a beautiful quiet neighborhood, but not very central to the typical toursity things, so prepare for uber rides. My only wish would have been an actual drip coffee maker and nicer weather to have enjoyed the pool!

This was a well organized and comfortable place to stay. Host assured everything was meant to be above standard and it clearly shows. She is very accommodating with speedy response times. I will be coming back to stay at this unit again!

Property was not well cleaned or maintained: there were food particles left on the sofa, stains on the sofa, curtains, and the bed frame. The washroom had mold in the corners and hair under the cabinet door. The exterior of the home was also dusty and cracked, it was not well maintained. Considering the price, this is unacceptable. I did not stay here even one night, I left after seeing the condition of the place considering the high cost. Vrbo and the host kept 2 days of the cost anyway, even though they were notified about the condition and my decision not to stay. Just for this reason, I will not be booking again with Vrbo, as they make the process of canceling and refunding very difficult. This location is only worth it if you don't care much about cleanliness, and are sharing with others to offset the high cost to make it reasonable.

Such a beautiful area

This little spot is pretty centrally located between Toronto and Niagara. That said it can be a commute to get anywhere, but absolutely no worse than back home on the US west coast!As you pull into the neighborhood, you are greeted with some of the most charming, and architecturally pleasing to the eye, homes. The living quarters themselves were perfect for my husband and me. They were clean, well modernized and fairly peaceful. (There is a family living upstairs and of course you can hear them from time to time, but everybody goes to sleep.) ;-)I can’t talk on the pool because it was still winterized, but we didn’t mind at all. The small thicket out back was neat to have, to sit and watch the small bit of Mother Nature while drinking coffee. Our hostess was very sweet. My husband thought he had left the house key in our rental car and she told us not to worry and found him a spare. He found it so we could give both back. Thank you to our wonderful host family. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us and it was definitely well worth it!Oh and Google ‘Gladiator Burgers and Steak’. That place was de-lush!! Their poutine…chef’s kiss!
