Authentic Terlingua Stay. Sleeps 8

Terlingua Te Amo is easy to find and requires no off road driving! 4 miles to the entrance of Big Bend National Park. 7 minutes to the Ghost Town. The house was once a residence of an original Terlingua family and has been updated with a full kitchen, full bath and 3 bedrooms with comfy linens. Adobe construction with a rock fireplace. Spacious living/dining area and a covered patio and front porch. Child friendly for mindful guests. We look forward to hosting you! There are 3 bedrooms. Each has their own climate control and smart tv. One room has 2 queen beds, one has a king and one has 2 twin beds. Comfy, clean linens. Maximum of 8 guests. Total price is dependent on number of guests on the reservation so add all guests to see the total. Outdoor cameras monitor 24/7 to ensure rules are followed.

Tile shower/bath combo. 1 bathroom. Please use minimal TP and do not dispose of anything other than TP in the toilet. We are on a septic system, so please be mindful.

Fully stocked kitchen for preparing food you bring.

Living room and dining room seat 8. There is a smart tv on the mantel.

Outdoor picnic table, seating area, charcoal grill and fire pit on the west side of the house.

Bed linens and towels are provided for the number of reserved guests.

We also provide: shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryer.

Please bring a flashlight or headlamp as we are a dark sky community and outdoor lighting is minimal to preserve the view of the Milky Way.

Great location and extremely convenient to Big Bend National Park entrance and to Terlingua Ghost Town (restautants, coffee shops, art galleries, etc). Air conditioning worked well and all conveniences of home. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.We really enjoyed our stay

We absolutely loved our stay in Terlingua. We could not have picked a better place for convenience to the park and restaurants. Plus, it was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed & more. And Sally, the host, is very responsive. I will definitely recommend this place to friends traveling to Big Bend and would stay here again!

This property was a perfect place to relax after a busy day hiking and sightseeing in Big Bend National Park! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for my family of 4 to spread out! There were tons of little touches that were much appreciated, such as usb ports in the lamps in the bedroom, soap/shampoo in the shower, etc. Highly recommend this place for families!

This property is great, close to Big Bend entrance, fuel, and restaurants in Terlingua. Nice accommodations, cold AC. Highly recommend.

Good location

This property is in a good location, close to Big Bend and Terlingua. The host was kind and responsive. The listing says it sleeps 8, which is true. Note there is only 1 bathroom. It worked ok for our family of 4 but I can't imagine it being comfortable for a larger group. The property seems like it is in the process of being renovated.

Here’s the review by the 8 guests who stayed immediately after you: We absolutely loved Sally’s place! All the beds were comfy, had great linens and plush towels. We were a group of 8 friends and never ran out of hot water and had plenty of towels and washcloths. The home is tastefully decorated and had plenty of seating for our group. So close to Big Bend National Park it was super convenient for us going to the park each day. She even told us about a star watching party a mile or two down the road that we attended that was great! We will definitely be back and highly recommend to other groups and/or families!

Our family of 4 had a delightful stay at this house. This is a true gem! Located super close to Big Bend NP, Big Bend Ranch State Park, food mart, gas station and Starlight Theater. The decor is exquisite! The beds are comfy! The bathroom is large and the sink is a piece of art itself! The outside sitting is plentiful. Coming back to this house after long days in the park was a treat. The host is readily available to answer questions and concerns. Except we had none! Thank you, Sally, for being a wonderful host and caring so much for your guests! We had a great experience!

Great Terlingua Stay

We stayed at Terlingua Te Amo for a long weekend visit. The view from the large windows were spectacular and enjoyable to observe from just about any room. It is located less than a 10 min drive to one of the BBNP entrances and has close proximity to restaurants, gas station, and local businesses. The decor and set up are greatly appreciated and give a theme of comfort. Don’t worry about packing extra, there were sufficient amount of towels, including for make up, body wash and hair shampoo/conditioner. There are even stainless steel thermos for your beverages as well as glass storage containers for leftover prepared meals and the like. Host was easily reachable and provided polite helpful information. Would look forward to staying for a longer visit next time hwre.
