An incredible place to stay; the house is wonderful. It's spacious, well equipped, with AC in all the rooms, comfortable beds - everything feels well thought through. The verandahs are amazing, so wonderful to enjoy the views, and it's a few minutes walk/easy drive to restaurants, shops, etc. We all really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely book again.

Awesome property and host

This was a perfect spot for our group of 4 adults and 3 teens. Lots of space to relax, air conditioning kept us cool, the caretaker and host were very helpful. Short walk into town for groceries, restaurants, etc. Highly recommended.

Casa Suzie is Awesome!

We had a great time in San Ignacio and the house was well stocked and the views from the Patio were amazing. The property manager ( Juan ) was very helpful and there for anything we needed! The location is close to everything. Would definitely recommend this home!

San Ignacio Visit

We loved our stay in San Ignacio. The location is perfect and the views from the upper patio in the evenings are spectacular. The place was clean and fairly well stocked. Communication with the owner was very good and the property manager (Juan) was very responsive and helpful, especially upon arrival. The place is located right across the street from the San Ignacio Resort Hotel and the Casino which made finding it quite easy. The rooms were spacious and each had a full bathroom which was fantastic. There was even a washer and dryer. We would definitely consider staying here in the future.

San Ignacio family vacation

Great location! We had a week planned in Cayo with some of our family staying at the San Ignacio Hotel. This house was conveniently located right across the street! Easy to get to downtown and the highway. Juan, the caretaker, was quick to answer questions and help us with anything we needed. Only complaint was upon arrival there was a mix up of which unit we were in. There are 3 separate units on the property. We rented the larger house but we were initially taken to a smaller apartment. This caused some confusion and panic but it was quickly resolved. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely home

We had a great time staying here. It was clean, everything worked and it's in a nice location. Close enough to walk to the San Ignacio market and Cahal Pech. The property manager (Juan) is very friendly and responsive. We had a slight issue trying to check in, but that might be because we requested an earlier check in. I never received the door code, but Juan was there to help us in and to set all that up for us. The only other issue is that Google Maps doesn't actually have the address on their maps. But like another reviewer said, the driveway is right across from Princess Casino San Ignacio.

The best stay for a family in San Ignacio

Large and well equipped for a family stay. We loved the kitchen and appreciated the washer/dryer after our active jungle adventures. Terry and Juan were welcoming and went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Terry is the local host who greeted us shortly after we arrived with a big bag of welcoming snacks, cokes, bottled water, and extra toilet paper for our stay, along with plenty of tips about restaurants, local groceries and things to do. Juan is the caretaker that lives on the property, and showed us his garden and even cut us some callallo that we cooked up with eggs for breakfast and shared some papaya growing on the property. My wife wanted to make tortillas from scratch and he helped her find the tortilla press and gave her his expert cooking tips. He is a real gem! You couldn't do better than this vacation house in San Ignacio! One tip: the driveway entrance is not at the front, but around the back in a street that parallel's the street of the address given.

Casa Suzie was AMAZING!

Property was ideally located to our planned activities of Xunantunich and Mountain Pine Ridge. Central to town and within walking distance of restaurants. The house was clean, cool, and appealing - very comfortable for 2 couples and 2 singles. The porch was lovely for afternoon and end of day visits - with hammocks, seating chairs, and outside dining space available. Being on a hilltop, the porch had beautiful breezes every time we sat outside. We were welcomed with drinks in the fridge, snacks on the counter, water, and coffee/cream/sugar for the am. Such a lovely amenity after a long day of travel and the need to just have a breather! Grounds were well cared for and a friendly Spanish-speaking caretaker was responsive to our questions. A private cook was referred on request and her food was delicious!! She exposed the newcomers to a number of native Belizean specialties including fruits and vegetables. Having breakfast and dinner prepared for us daily was an over-the-top treat in our trip. We believe we had incredible value for our rate and sincerely hope that Casa Suzie is available to us on our next trip to Belize!
