Getaway on the Hudson

Getaway from the busy life in the city and come stay at our rental on Lake Hudson. A truly hidden gem with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Kitchen comes equipped with utensils, cookware and bakeware. A large back patio to sip your coffee and enjoy the views of the lake. Just a short walk, you can explore the backyard or walk onto the rock shores of Lake Hudson. Fishing rods and lures are provided upon request. Enjoy the nights around the the firepit making smores with the little ones or family game night with our arrays of board games in our game cabinet. Kick back and watch a movie on the 1 gig fiber connection and finally unwind to a quiet nights rest. Restaurants and a grocery store is just a short drive away. Make some new memories here at Getaway on the Hudson.

Nice little cabin on the lake

This cabin is the perfect spot to reconnect with family and nature. We had so much fun exploring the areas around the cabin. Definitely recommend if you need a get away or want to enjoy nature. Thank you for everything!!

Great cabin on the lake. Had all the amenities anyone could ask for. It was extremely clean and tidy. The owners did a great job decorating, and you have plenty of room to stretch out. The patio in the back is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a Fathers Day weekend. We will definitely be back!

relaxing and peaceful

Overall we enjoyed our 6 nights. Very peaceful and with water views. Nice having 2 bathrooms. Beds comfy and cozy. There were plenty of little extras in the kitchen which was very kind. Deck perfect for afternoon drinks, eating dinner and soaking up the sun. A couple of comments to add to our review...pillow covers missing on upstairs bedpropane cylinder almost empty but enough for our 2 bbq's only 4 knives and the cabin caters for 4 There were plenty of plastic onesOverall would recommend staying and enjoying the cabin

Lakefront getaway

House was just right - not too big not too small. Was clean and had EVERYTHING needed down to bandaids (which I needed once and failed to bring). Lake was flooded at the time so water was in Gully behind house very close to deck, which made for very easy fishing. Actually preferred the water that close. Lake House neighborhood - some properties are neat, tidy, very well kept (including this property), some properties not so much, so that was really the only drawback.

Great house

The house was as advertised and just what we needed. It was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. View of the lake was nice. We were in town to visit family, so we chose the location for that reason.

Girls trip

I booked this for a 1 night stay for me and a few of my friends. The home was more then what we expected. It was a beautiful 2 story with wounderful decor, a good sized deck, and a great view of the water. The host was very timely in responding to any questions I had before hand. Over all we were highly satisfied with our stay. I would definitely recomend The Getaway on the Hudson!

Lake stay

Very nice house. Had everything needed for a relaxing lake trip.Beds were comfortable. Right on the lake. I was taking notes on how I would want to decorate. We really liked the reading nook and desk. Christmas decorations were a nice touch.

Great property in NE Oklahoma

We thoroughly enjoyed this well-maintained, well-designed and well-supplied A-frame cabin. Quiet location with a nice view of lake in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. Not far from various "amenities" (eating places, groceries, etc.). We have relatives in the area and would definitely stay here again on future trips.

Weekend Away

Frank and Bao have created a great renting experience for their guests. We were surprised at how well stocked the house. Firewood, grilling supplies, even some bowtie of candy. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the lake grilling and playing games. While we couldn't use the dock nearest the property, a very short walk around the block was the community dock where we did some fishing. The hosts communicated well before and during our stay giving us tips for any quirks we should be aware of. During our stay, a tornado hit the town of Salina nearby and damaged this property and knocking out power to the town and this cabin. We were stuck due to road closures due to downed trees and power lines. There hosts found a way through and came to check on us offering to walk to the store if we needed anything. There began seeing up a generator to get us power and we're very gracious. Good news though, the damage was minor to the property and will not take away from your stay in a cozy, comfortable, scenic cabin by the lake. Despitr the storm, We had a blast! Thank you Frank and Bao!

Perfect Lakeside Home

Beautiful, Clean home! Back porch was absolutely delightful to get away from the hustle of life and relax in the peace of the great outdoors. Beds were so comfortable, water quickly warm, and house furnished with everything you could think. Would 100% stay again. Thank you!
