This was the perfect little get away! It is really close to all that Hot Springs South Dakota has to offer but it felt like you were tucked away. The cabin was very cozy and clean. The host was great! I would highly recommend staying here.

Such a great little place. Sat by the gas firepit in the evening and had coffee at the picnic table with mountain views in the morning.

Everything was as protrayed in ad. It had everything we needed. We thought it would be a little bigger with maybe a chair. Would stay there again if we ever get back to Hot springs.

Nice place for early birds. No blackout curtains for sleeping in. Accommodations were good with very comfy beds. Cabin is one room only and space is tight.

Wildlife at Highland Meadows

We stayed at the Meadow Cabin during our recent South Dakota vacation. Other than the street construction, we had a great stay in Hot Springs. We especially loved the peaceful setting and the tipis next to our cabin. What we loved most was seeing deer and turkey stroll right alongside our cabin. We sat drinking coffee outside when 4 turkeys came out from behind our cabin. We nearly fell out of our chairs when a tom turkey let out a gobble. The perfect setting after Rapid City and the Badlands! We also loved having access to laundry room as we had been in SD for close to a week. Check in was easy, the cabin clean and the bed comfortable. It was nice to have coffee in a nice mug after drinking out of paper coffee cups. There were plenty of utensils and dishes if you wanted to cook in. We ate at The Mercantile and loved the kombucha and burgers. We also booked a 3 hour soak at Moccasin Hot Springs, within a few miles of the cabin. It was spectacular! We will absolutely encourage friends and family traveling through South Dakota to stay at Highland Meadows. Don and Laurie F.

Hot Springs View

Fantastic location and a really clean place. Small but really nice. I would be perfect for two. I grew up in this town but had no idea of the location. The views were incredible in all directions. Highly recommended.
