Brand new indoor/outdoor entertaining area with HOT TUB, POOL TABLE, CORNHOLE, MOVIE THEATER FOR 2026 STAYS and other games! 360 degree panoramic view for miles. This entire home and farm is a 2023 construction and ready for your dream getaway! What more could you want? Large wrap-around patio to enjoy the scenic views, full kitchen with any appliance needed!

There are two closets that have a “no guest access” sign.


It does not snow often in Kentucky! But if you're lucky and visiting us during a snow event you will need AWD or 4WD to get up the driveway. Usually the snow doesn't last for more than a day. Our driveway is gravel so it is unable to be snow plowed completely. The driveway is marked with reflective tape

Highly recommend The Barndo! We were a group of 9 and had plenty of space to relax, dine, sleep and had a great time in the huge indoor game space! Very clean, comfortable, and the host was excellent - always responding quickly, friendly and professionally.

Beautiful

There were 6 of us and this place was amazing. The setup of the house met everyone's needs and we all had privacy. The garage entertainment area, it was amazing. I love sitting now on the porch and watching the views.I definitely would stay here again

We had a wonderful stay. The pictures of the property are accurate. The property was very clean and the hosts were welcoming. The Barndo offered many activities and provided extra space. Easy arrival and check-out. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Great for the Bourbon Trail

3 couples (all over 70). Plenty of room, fun game room, and great gathering space. Kitchen well equipped but only used for coffee in the morning and snacks at night. (Busy on the trail)! Piano was nice addition

Fantastic Stay at The Barndo

The Barndo was the perfect home base for our weekend on the bourbon trail! The location was ideal, making it easy to explore the area. The property itself is spacious, well-stocked, and comfortable. We especially loved the stunning sunrise and sunset views- absolutely breathtaking! Communication with the host was excellent and timely, making our stay seamless. Everyone in our group raved about the property, and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

This was one of the best stays we have had! This home was cozy, clean, and comfortably fit all 10 of us! Everyone had plenty of room and we were grateful for the thoughtful hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Family Bourbon Trail Trip

Great time at a great location. Plenty of space and plenty of fun. Everything was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed family dinners around the beautiful dining room table and even took a picture of the whole family on very large comfy couch!! Well stocked kitchen - nice to have a variety of spices. The game room was amazing! Fun to play Horse inside in the middle of winter. Thanks so much for sharing Barndo!!

The property is amazing, hostess is wonderful, would definitely all stay again. But, a few minor tweaks would make it even more spectacular. Possibly having a dishwasher, basic cable channels and not having a dog on site.

Spectacular!!!

You MUST go to Bardstown and use the Barndo as your next getaway!!!! The Mashburns have a diamond in the rough just a few minutes from downtown Bardstown. Great place, great location, great amenities and great folks. No negatives here AND a great view!!!!

Don't Pass on This Home

What a perfect location to so so many distilleries...yes, we were on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. As a first timer to Kentucky, this is the view I hoped to see of the state. Impressive and beautiful. Every one of us had a King size bed to ourselves, so that helps when sleeping away from home, but the quality of the mattress was amazing. I meant to grab a picture of the brand. Beautiful, Impeccable, Entertaining in all the best ways. Thanks for having us

Absolutely Amazing!

The property was stunning and beautiful. Space for everyone there, immaculately clean. Bailey was one of the best hosts I've dealt with, responding to every question I had before and during the trip extremely quickly. If you're headed to the Bardstown area, I cannot recommend enough, you need to put the Barndo at Mashburn farms on your list of places to stay!
