From its beautiful woodland setting to the classic log-cabin atmosphere, this home is a joy to return to after a day spent out on the pristine waters of Flathead Lake.

This single-story home is part of the Experience Montana Cabins, a tranquil cabin community stunningly set in the outskirts of Bigfork. It's Montana at its finest, with the surrounding area a haven for hiking, fishing, boating, and taking in the splendor of nature. Within a short, scenic drive, you can fish the Swan River (five miles), peruse the art galleries in Bigfork (11 miles), fish or swim in Flathead Lake (11 miles), and explore the majesty of Glacier National Park (49 miles).

Bear's Den greets you with an abundance of character as soon as you step through the door. Find bear-themed accents at every turn, from the textiles to the artwork to the lamps that illuminate the space. Curl up with a good book on the futon (which doubles as an extra sleeping space), set up a card game at the dining table, and fix some hot cocoa and popcorn using the mini-fridge and microwave (please note, however, that there is no kitchen).

Begin and end each long summer day outside on the patio - the perfect spot for sipping morning coffee and roasting marshmallows around the firepit at sunset. Map out tomorrow's adventures with your loved ones before retiring to a serene bedroom nook for a restful night's sleep.

Things to Know
The other eight Experience Montana Cabins are available to rent individually; large groups can also rent all nine together.
There's no TV or washer/dryer.
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
