Two cozy Queen Suites provide ample space and comfort for your family or guests, offering tranquil retreats after outdoor adventures. One queen bedroom boasts a private bathroom, while the second queen and the charming Bunk Room share a full bathroom in the hallway. The Bunk Room is a haven for the kids (and kids-at-heart), featuring two sets of full-over-full bunk beds, playful decor, shuffleboard, and seating for TV time – perfect for laughter and bedtime stories for everyone.
Soothe your muscles and unwind in the private hot tub on the grounds, the perfect way to end your day under the stars. A landscaped fire pit is ready for an evening of s'mores. Gather around the gas fireplace on the deck and soak in the mountain views while savoring your morning coffee.
Situated ideally in Eagles Nest in Banner Elk, On Eagle's Wings provides easy access to the area's year-round outdoor activities near the North Pavilion and Winery. Whether you're exploring nearby hiking trails within the community or along the Blue Ridge Parkway, hitting the slopes at Beech Mountain or Sugar Mountain, or simply relaxing in the cozy living room and enjoying the fireplace, this mountain retreat is the perfect backdrop for making lasting memories with loved ones.

Additional Notes: - This home allows one dog for an additional rent of $25 per night plus taxes. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. - Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates. - Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice for $25 per night plus taxes. This provides two wrapped bundles of wood and a firestarter per nightly bundle. - Guests are responsible for supplying all their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.) - The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks. - 4WD required for winter months, and chains may also be necessary in times of snow or ice. - All linens and towels provided. - All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee to maintain the luxurious amenities. - Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday. - Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided. - Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am - Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable. - 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. - This homeowner uses three exterior security cameras to monitor the property and ensure it remains safe. One is above the left side garage door pointing at the driveway. One is a front door ring cam pointing at front steps. The third is mounted on the right side of house pointing at the driveway. - Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Post Christmas Family Vacation
Great cabin for 10 people (6 adults and 4 children). The view of the mountains was wonderful and we all enjoyed the outside hot tub and fire pit. We hope to visit again.
