Enjoy everything lake life has to offer with this spacious yet cozy retreat. With a main house, bunk house, large outbuilding, private back yard, 20ft of waterfront with dock for boats, this is the getaway you've been looking for. The recently renovated main house boasts a wonderful kitchen along with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. In the bunk house there is a small second kitchen along with a full bath and sleeps up to 8 guests. The out building is the perfect hangout spot to enjoy ping pong, bag toss, a game of darts or just hang out. The large fenced in back yard is a great spot to play basketball, football, toss a frisbee or play with the kids.

What's lake life without the lake!? Long Lake will not disappoint. This 356 acre all sports lake is great for fishing, skiing, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding or bring your personal water craft. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or your afternoon beverages from the deck overlooking the lake or walk down the stairs to the beach area. Book now for your much needed relaxing retreat. We also offer pontoon rental to fully enjoy the lake. It is a 20ft 2022 Suntracker fishing barge and it rents for $350 per day up to the first 3 days. $200 a day if booked for 4 or more days. Flat fee of $1,000 if booked for the week.

Property is also next to the 11,000 acre Flat River State Game area.

Communication with owners was great and instructions provided were on point. Very homey and extremely well equipped! Only downside was not enough time to thoroughly enjoy lake life!

Annual family cottage trip

We had a wonderful stay and Amy was very kind and worked with us to make it a memorable weekend. The pontoon boat was a great addition also. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

I want to first and foremost say thank you to these hosts. Theyve worked with us on a lot to help us out with some minor things we needed. This was our wedding home base so we could relax and get ready for the big day. Everyone we stayed with wants to re rent this place once a year because if how beautiful and relaxing it is. The views and the garage were the best part. We played table tennis till we passed out. I highly recommend this for a family stay or a weekend get away

Amy's Cottage

Very nice A frame house w/ separate bunkhouse & pole barn for games. Nice beach with sand for kids. Also nice pontoon available rent. We enjoyed it very much.

Loving the Lake Life

We loved our stay here! Amy was a wonderful host! Property was beautiful and the best stocked of any properties we’ve rented. So much for family to enjoy such as corn hole, basketball, ping pong, beachside fire pit, fishing, walking the neighborhood and boating. Not enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation 2024

The stay was amazing. The owners were incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating. Every age of our family found more than enough activities to entertain them at the property, and the sleeping arrangements were more than adequate for 16. The multiple refrigerators made it very easy to handle a large group. We loved the big grass area to play games and spent a lot of time enjoying the water. It's a gorgeous lake to boat, fish, and swim in. Wonderful stay.

Hang out spot on the lake.

Very nice and clean. Newly renovated. A lot of fun things to do in the pole barn. We had a wedding in Ionia and our family and friends were able to stay and we all had plenty of room.

Perfect for Big Family Getaways

Absolutely checked all the boxes for my large family (8 adults, two kids under 5, and a dog). It can be tough to get all my siblings, my parents, nieces, and pets all in the same place, but we were able to do so here. Very nice lake, perfect weather, and unlimited amounts of entertainment. Andy was also very responsive when a small problem arose. Would recommend this location to anyone

Great Place to stay!

Very nice place! Has house, bunkhouse and a pole barn full of games. Neighbors were friendly. There is a pontoon to rent for fishing, swimming or just cruising around. Have a great time with our kids and grandkids. Andy was always quick to answer any questions we had. Thanks for sharing your place. Hope to come back next year!

5th family gathering at this VRBO.

Property has plenty of space. The main house and bunkhouse have seen improvements since new ownership. Any issues that came up were addressed by the property owner quickly. He has made improvements inside and we are sure he will continue to do so.

Perfect Work Trip

We housed our out of town work crew here and there was plenty of room. Andy was a great host and communicated well. He let us know that the house was left in unfavorable conditions went the crew left but was very polite and helpful through that communication. His beautiful cabin is a steal for anyone looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy

over all stay was ok. the vrbo pics look better then the place. there was know pics of the 25 steps to the beach. the bunkhouse was a little tight with 4 or 5 people and the shower in the bunk house needs some work. the barn was great for playing games, cards, and just to hang out.

Room for a large group

This clean cottage had plenty of sleeping and eating room for our large family group which consisted of some young marrieds, teens, singles and grandparents.There was space for littles to play, great pike fishing on the large lake with beautiful sunsets. There was public lake access for our 3 boats. The cottage and bunk house were well stocked without excessive supplies or decor. Just perfect!

everything you need

This property has everything you need for a fun family vacation. They really have thought of everything- plenty of sleeping/hang out space for a large group. bikes, games, etc. the garage with the ping pong table, fooseball etc is really the best. its not fancy- but its perfect. we traveled with a group of age 5-74 and everyone had space and activities. we only left once in the week to explore the little town of Rockford (which is very nice; boutiques, restaurants ect).

Birthday Ski Weekend

This property offers everything and more as described in the listing. We stayed for a long weekend to ski at Canonsburg. It was only a 20-25 minute car ride, so it was perfect. The main house was so cozy with the fireplace and perfectly set up for the whole family to be able to enjoy ourselves. The bunk house was perfect for the older teenagers. The barn was a great place to hang out for the kids. Even though it was February, the barn was still warm enough to enjoy. The view of the lake was beautiful. The house was very clean, updated and had absolutely everything you needed to enjoy a fun filled, no stress weekend. Andy, the owner, was great on communicating with us and made check in and check out flawless. If we had a question he immediately responded. Overall, I give this property 5 stars all the way around. I would definitely recommend staying here. We hope to be back this summer to enjoy the nice weather and the lake.

Great for multigenerational family

Overall positive experience during our 4-night stay over Thanksgiving. PROS everyone (all ages, 1 to 70) enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen, space and comfort in main cabin, access to lakefront, fire pit(s) and game garage. CONS bunkhouse was musty and also very cold at night since wall heater wouldn’t kick on consistently and no heat reaches the bed area. MORE PROS large fenced in yard perfect for dogs to roam safely, water gallons provided and good communication from the host. Thank you!

Wonderful place!

Excellent communication, beautiful location, wonderful amenities. Pictures are a great representation of the cottage, bunk house and barn. This is a great place to stay for all ages, barn is well equipped with indoor and outdoor games. Thank you Andy!

Great stay

We had 12 staying at the house and there was plenty of room for all of us. The owner was very nice and helpful. We were there in October but it would be a fun time in the summer. Would definitely come back again and tell friends and family about this rental. The game barn was great to have when you have a big group.
