The house is lovely and well appointed. Very clean and modern appearance. The host left well understood instructions and the check-in and check-out process was easy. The location is very convenient to downtown New Albany and Louisville. The local area is still undergoing gentrification, so a bit sketchy nearby.

Beautiful Home

We came for the Bourbon & Beyond Music Festival so we were not able to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked to. The beds were all very comfortable which is always important to us. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire and sitting area. There is gas stations and a few restaurants within a few blocks. Everything was very nice. We all enjoyed the nice showers too.

Pretty great experience overall

Cute house. Parking was a little snug for a SUV, but made it happen. The sheets on one of the beds were stained, but the hosts were great about sending over clean sheets.

Perfect multi-family getaway spot!

My brother and sisters and I stayed in Kelvin & Vhalerie's lovely Elwood Haven for our sister's Louisville wedding. It was a very comfortable layout and size for our group (family with 2 kids, family with infant, and two single adults). The house was impeccable: thoughtfully designed, perfectly clean, and wonderfully comfortable. The location gave us quick and easy access to all the wedding events just across the river in Louisville. We had 3 cars between us and were a little nervous about finding parking, but it was plentiful. Next time we have a big family event in the area, Elwood Haven would be our first choice!

Great Home Away from Home for Family Gathering

This wonderfully designed and located property served as home base for 5 adults in town for a family gathering. The layout provided space for socializing and dining while preserving privacy for sleeping quarters. It is in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to both dining and hiking trails. Our hosts were easily accessible and responsive. We plan to return!

Exceptionally clean and nice

Wonderfully nice property - so clean and new. My only complaint is I would want blinds on the hallway windows for privacy. Other than that - great, and I would stay there again.

Amazing home

We truly loved our stay in New Albany. We were in town to record our upcoming album (check out Silver Creek Revival). The house was a perfect spot to relax and had everything we needed. We'll definitely stay here again next time we venture south. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

We are Kelvin & Vhalerie with a daughter who's a year old, Mhelodie. We are from Riverside, CA and we love, love to spend time with our loved ones, especially with our family members. Since having a baby, our hobbies changed from watching movies to having long walks in the park, or even around our community and enjoy each other's company. We are creatives as Kelvin is a photographer and a videographer. Kelvin loves to storytelling through his photos and videos. Vhalerie loves to decorate spaces, whether it's for our home, a birthday party, and events. She also loves being a mom to Mhelodie.

We have a passion for hosting because we want to offer the same feeling we feel when we visit other places. Provide our guests with a cozy home to stay in where our guests can feel relaxed, at peace, and feel that they are home away from home. We strive to give our guests the best experience while visiting our home and create some precious memories with their loved ones.

Downtown New Albany, IN is a neighborhood we fell in love with. Not only is it safe and quiet, it is so close to so many places our family & friends can visit. The community, the people are so very friendly, and neighborly. In addition, we are only a bridge away from Louisville KY where our guests can enjoy the Derby season, PGA Tour, Distilleries and so much more. There are family festivities within downtown New Albany as well as Louisville, KY.

Our home was carefully thought when designing the space, putting our guests in mind and making sure we provide our guests everything they need during the duration of their stay. It is also walkable to local restaurant, shops, boutiques, and so much more. The New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater is only 0.6mi away from the home. Our guests has the ability to choose whether they want to walk and get some fresh air or do a short-drive to restaurants, shops, and etc.
