Aspen House, the "not so tiny" house!

Welcome to the Aspen House! Well appointed and charming, the Aspen House is the perfect escape. Located directly above Golden our new custom-built home boasts magnificent views of the Columbia Valley and Kicking Horse Ski Resort. We’re a 5 min drive to town and a 5 minute walk to the Skybridge. Explore our hiking trails and our expansive property. Guests can either sleep in the queen sized bed on the main floor or double sized bed in the loft. The loft access is quite unique, a bespoke spiral staircase, just one of the creative features in this space. Aspen House has a full bathroom and well stocked kitchen. Enjoy the private back deck with views of the Ski Resort. Private entrance with keyless door code will be supplied before check in. On site parking for 2 vehicles. We live on the property and are happy to help if need be. Rural but very close to town (5 min) -5 min drive to town 5-10 min walk to Golden Skybridge on our trail system. +/-30 min walk to town.

Quaint little home with a great view. Its location just outside Golden makes it a great home base to visit the nearby national parks. It is a tiny house, so there’s not much room for lounging around. However the kitchen was nice and the back patio was a great place to eat dinner with a phenomenal view after a long day hiking.

Tiny house with everything you need!

We stopped for one night on the way from Banff over towards Whistler and it was perfect. Even though it is tiny it is well equipped and the three of us fitted in fine. It's just minutes away from Golden Skybridge and has great views over towards the Columbia Mountains.

Nice little house with mountain view.

Nice place to stay, had some problems with the water in the house at first but Sheldon took care of everything like a boss. Just outside of Golden, 20 min. from Kicking Horse mountain, everything is near, little functional kitchen but no microwave, just so you know
 It is a real good place to stay, I recommend it to anyone that doesn’t need a lot of space but a functional place

Such a cute gem!

This was a very cute gem of a property in Golden. The beds were comfortable and the place itself was very clean and accommodating. The shower is somewhat small (I’m about 5’10”) and required a little maneuvering but it was fine for us overall as we only stayed two nights. I’d recommend this place to others. The chocolates on the towels were a really cute personal touch. Would stay again.

Tiny House in Golden

Everything was great! We especially appreciated the coffee that was available since we forgot to buy that. The only things that we recommend is another chair with a back on it for sitting outside, tongs for the bbq grill. Maybe the addition of a hummingbird feeder?

Cozy llittle house. Great for resting after a days vacation activities

Impressive. 10 stars. Will just need a microwave though as people might be too tired to cook or heat up food in a pan. Tiles in shower would also need a good scrubbing. Will need a fan as well during those hot days.

The Tiny Home was perfect for our short stay

We easily found the “Aspen” tiny home via the great directions A bit of a problem contacting 5h3 host because we apparently did not book the VRBO as a “Signed in” user and as such the VRBO app did not work for replying to messages like “ Contact the owner” for door code to access the unit. We did however eventually discover 5he door was unlocked and the host showed up shortly afterwards The host was extremely accommodating and provided anything we thought could be required like a broom to sweep the floor as some dirt was tracked inside occassionally

Quiet Retreat

After a couple of nights in Banff enjoying the tourist vibe, it was awesome to get away to this tiny house in Golden. It is outside of Yoho so there is some additional driving, but it is well worth it for the peaceful serenity of the location. The home was very clean, the beds are comfortable, the house is nicely decorated and there is a great little patio area that is not shown in photos online. The property Manager was easily reached when I needed the door code and very attentive. I did let him know that we would have appreciated a microwave, and he indicated that he would be getting one. If you are planning to prepare meals here, I suggest doing your shopping somewhere other than Golden. The options in town are very limited and if you have any food allergies or special needs you are most likely out of luck. When we made reservations there were no reviews yet online. We took a chance and were not disappointed. It's less than an hour to get back into Yoho, a great place to crash after a long day hiking and also in walking distance to the very cool suspension bridges and park. Highly recommend!

. The property around the home was delightful and beautiful. The landscape is not completely finished but it will be exceptional once it is finished. The inside is immaculate and very comfortable. There is absolutely everything you need. Sheldon is also very responsive to any request. The location is perfect for any activity you desire
