A great place! We book both the upper & lower units. Loved that every bedroom had king sized beds. Loved the deck in the back with view of the river. We would definitely book again!

Perfect Milwaukee Weekend!

We had wonderful time and had the perfect weekend in Milwaukee with family! We had 6 adults and 1 small child and we had plenty of space for everyone! Michelle was very responsive... fantastic hospitality all around!!

Amazing place for the weekend

Came back to MKE area for the weekend, and booked this property for the weekend. The place was beautiful, spacious and very accommodating for the 8-10 people we had. Would definitely book again for my next trip back.

Pleasant stay in Milwaukee

Very nice accommodations. My daughter’s family stayed in the upstairs unit and I was downstairs. We had a few questions while we were there and the host answered promptly. We loved the bedding! I highly recommend it and we will be staying there again when we return to Milwaukee.

This is a beautiful property and located in a convenient location for our visit with family in Shorewood and Glendale in mid-August. Both units were clean and well-maintained. The decor is attractive, and the house itself has "good bones" with lovely vintage features.Amenities were very good. Excellent Wifi. The air conditioning was especially good in the lower unit, which was much appreciated during our mid-August stay. The bedrooms in the upper unit were on the warm side, so a fan for each bedroom would be welcome. Overall, the kitchens were well-equipped although the upper unit seemed to have a greater variety of skillets, baking utensils, etc., than the lower unit, possibly due to migration between family renters. The Keurig coffee makers were convenient.The property is also close to a good natural foods store, Outpost, and just a few minutes from Metro Market for a wide variety of groceries.Overall, I highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Excellent Stay!

We booked both the top and bottom of Vienna Riverwest so our out of town family could be together to attend our nephew’s wedding. We were very pleased with accommodations. All were clean and updated. The 4 king beds were comfy, living areas were spacious, amenities were appreciated, bathrooms were nice, and we loved the back deck overlooking the river. Michelle worked with us to even get in early to accommodate our out of town guests.

Gorgeous apartments in a walkable neighborhood

A group of six of us traveled to Milwaukee to celebrate a big birthday weekend. Michelle's home was every bit as beautiful as the photos in the listing and there were so many thoughtful touches. We really appreciated having access to two apartments so we could hang out together but also have quiet time as well. The Riverwest neighborhood is quiet and lovely - there's a park nearby, you can walk down to the river, and restuarants and coffee shops were a short walk away. It was also super convenient and to the arts district, Third Ward, and Walker's Point. Communication from the host was excellent, as was the booklet with recommendations. We all thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, lovely decor, perfect location for our needs

Stayed just under a week in early September. We rented both levels - husband and myself upstairs and two friends downstairs. The neighborhood feels safe, is within walking proximity to a very nice park, and was quiet. Ample parking either in the street or in the long driveway. Short drive to downtown, Lake Park, and pretty much anywhere we wanted to visit. Check in was easy. Each unit of the duplex has a lot of charm, both the architecture and the decor. The mattresses are wonderfully comfortable which was much appreciated since we were in town to compete in a sporting competition. All linens clean and fresh, basic kitchen utensils (and some staples) provided, laundry area in the basement came in really handy, luggage racks appreciated. Free WiFi (nice touch to provide a QR code), and multiple apps loaded onto the TVs. Good water pressure. The deck is not attached to the house - just a short walk through the backyard and overlooks the river - a lovely spot to relax. Our only “surprise” was when we received instructions for check in just days before arriving. Not until that time were we informed that the windows in the lower unit should not be opened (due to age). That is understandable, albeit a disappointment that could have been avoided had it been on the listing. Overall we had an outstanding stay in this beautiful property and feel fortunate that the owners are willing to share it with others.

The home was clean and the amenities were as described. Access between the upper and lower units was easy allowing for shared meals as well as private time. Our host was very responsive; it took a moment to figure out the high tech thermostat but all was well after that.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at Vienna Riverwest! We traveled with family and rented both units. It was perfect for our needs, in a great location. The owners left a guest book with info about the area and restaurant suggestions, which came in handy. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and it’s a cute property!
