Perched on the shores of Lake Whitetail, this chalet offers immense privacy while only being moments away from community amenities and events. The Whitetail Lakeside Retreat comfortably accommodates up to ten guests with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Trimmed with wood accents and contemporary décor, the interior boasts an open floorplan featuring a light-filled living room with comfortable furniture, wood-burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and vaulted ceilings outfitted with an expansive wall of windows that provide stunning views of the outdoors throughout the home. An additional sitting area on the main level is the perfect place to sit back and relax with a cup of morning joe, or enjoy family game nights around the table!

When you are ready to enjoy the outdoors, step outside onto the expansive deck that lines the entirety of the back elevation with steps leading down to the hot tub, lakeside fire pit, private dock, and sand beach!

Home very nice & clean. Two small issues: (1) I emailed & called to add 2 guests, so the reservation was updated from 6 to 8 however the 2 guests were NOT on list at guard check-in, so their entry was delayed. Thankfully someone answered at Innsbrook office. (2) Gravel road from house to street very uneven and we had much trouble getting out. We had to remove luggage and push 2 vehicles (both SUVs) to get out of drive. Upon our arrival we noticed gravel was already in rough state looking like previous cars had trouble getting out. Definitely needs fixing. IF more than 2 of us wouldn't have been there we do not think we would have been able to get out.

Needs some TLC

The property has great potential and matches its charming listing photos in many ways. However, a few maintenance and cleaning issues affected our stay. The hot tub was low on water and dirty, so we couldn’t use it. Some furniture was dirty and had pet hair, sinks were clogged, the kitchen faucet didn’t rotate, and water pressure was low. We also noticed burnt carpet near the fireplace, light bulbs out, and spider webs in fixtures. Most of these are minor individually, but together they made the home feel less cared for. With more consistent cleaning and upkeep, this could be an excellent rental.

The house was nice… We loved the extra seating in the family room and table. Fair warning about a few things… the driveway is very steep and was not paved which made it impossible to exit with my van moving forward. Luckily, I was able to reverse up the hill. The beach entry is like you’re sinking in mud and there’s no dock or ladder to get out. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing, clean, and roomy

Our stay was so enjoyable and relaxing. The whole house was very clean. The rooms were just as we saw online. The main level space was very roomy and comfortable. Hot tub was great. We had a couple of inquiries to which we received prompt responses. We definitely recommend.

Weekend Get Away

This was the perfect spot for a nice March weekend get away with the family. It was time well spent relaxing and visiting. We will be back during the warmer months, so we can use all the facilities Innsbrook has to offer.

Property was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Living and deck area did appear bigger in photos, however it did provide plenty of room for 7 adults. Would appreciate more mirrors in the upstairs area.

Perfect

The property was perfect for our short getaway. We were supposed to go to a fireworks festival but it was cancelled. We were disappointed at first, but the cabin is so great that we didn't feel like we missed out on anything. There were plenty of board games to play and Cedar Oak Winery is very close. It was very clean and the decor is so on point. Everything you need is at your finger tips, kitchen is great both everything you need to cook. It was an amazing getaway. Definitely will go back (if possible, I understand it's pending sale and hope so much the new owner leaves it as a rental)

Relaxing weekend getaway with family

The property is gorgeous! Setting has beautiful lake/woodland views. We enjoyed kayaking, cooking smores at the firepit by the lake, all in a very peaceful place surrounded by beautiful fall colors. The A-frame is in very good condition with beautiful views! Highly reccomend!

Adorable and such a cute private setting. Everything was perfect. We did not have any kitchen dish cloths or a broom but that was the only thing missing. We loved our stay!

Peaceful and Relaxing cabin

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The cabin is tucked away nicely with easy access to the lake. The owner was very easy to communicate with when we had questions. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this property. It is a beautiful house that is well-stocked and also very clean. They had a paddle boat and a few kayaks to enjoy. Would highly recommend this property! Hope we can stay there again soon!

Peaceful and relaxing family trip

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Our family of 5 (with adults, teens, kids and toddlers) all enjoyed the property very much! Beautiful location on the lake and the kayaks and paddle boat were super fun! Awesome views from the deck.. we watched a lightning storm from afar one night! Beds were super comfy and there were lots of movies and games for us to use! The walk to lake is steep but we all handled it fine. My only suggestion would be to make sure you bring your own groceries as the store within Innsbrook is a bit pricy (but very convenient in a pinch). 4 stars cause it was a bit outdated but is supposed to be renovated soon so I’m sure we’ll give it 5 stars at our next stay! We’d stay here again in a heart beat!

Almost perfect!!

This chalet is under new ownership and because of that I expect some improvements. For example, one of the bedroom doors did not have a door knob, some of the lights did not work, Dishwasher and garage disposal need to be replaced. The only complaint our family had was that the fire pit was down the hill closer to the lake and was difficult for some of the guest did not feel comfortable going down the hill and therefore we could not utilize that feature. Maybe relocating the fire pit could be done in the future. Overall, we were very satisfied with this location.

Best Innsbrook home- Stay Here!

This Is best Innsbrook home we’ve ever rented. Inside and outside this is a great property. Spacious family area with a vaulted ceiling and wall of windows opening to an enormous deck in the trees overlooking the lake. Stairs lead from the deck to lake side wooden patio with numerous Andirondac chairs (not the plastic ones) and fantastic fire pit. There are a two kayaks and a two seater paddleboat. Your family and friends will be thrilled when they lay eyes on this property.

Family getaway weekend

This was a great property for our family of 9. We had 6 adults and 3 children (boys ages 9, 6 & 5). Very clean and plenty room for us all to gather. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather. Hope to be back next year!
