Great stay in the country, yet very close to town. Quiet and peaceful setting with deer, horses on next door property, and even an owl last night. Plenty of beds and baths for 5 women and the kitchen worked extremely well. We might be back.
4 couples stayed 2 nights. Plenty of hot water for showers.3 full baths, which we didn't expect from the listing. Nice surprise. Definitely hard to find but i shared a pin drop once i found the gate. That helped the others find it. Plenty of parking as well.
Evyn is a very caring and thoughtful host. We were in Lampasas to visit our Dad who is battling cancer and she was an ally during this difficult time. This property is clean, beautifully designed, and peaceful.
The house was wonderful and the perfect size for our family of kids and cousins.Didnt feel like we were on top of each other. Lots of ample space!!! Each bedroom was spacious and the beds were just right as well. Not too soft or too firm. Our kids loved going out and seeing the horses in the field acroos feom the front of the house. They wven named the horses too.We didnt use the fire pit, but it was a nice amenity to have.Loved that there was a smart TV in every room (not that its needed).House was very clean when we arrived. My only complaint is that its hard to find the turn from Highway 190. We did arrive at night so that made it harder to find (rural Texas doesn't have street lights). It would be very helpful to have a noticeable marker to see where/when to turn. Maybe paint the mailbox a bright neon color. The 2 flagpoles that were given as landmarkers are no longer there. Other than that we really enjoyed the property. It was a close drive to Hancock Springs Pool, where we spent most of Saturday. There was a cute paper birthday cake sitting on the kitchen island. A personal touch from the owner was so thoughtful and sweet. We we're in the area celebrating my daughter's 12th birthday with her cousins that live in Killeen and Kempner. The kitchen is well stiocked with all the things you would need to cook meals. Refrigerator/Freezer is a good size too.We took advantage of the front porch as well.Thank you again, this property was beautiful and very comfortabl
Such a great stay. The little fox in the backyard and the horses on the neighboring property were a treat. Plenty of room for everyone and comfortable beds made this the perfect home base for our family wedding weekend. Yay!
