Beautiful house, very clean and had the appropriate kitchen utensils and appliances. The beds were so comfortable - they didn't skimp on linens or towels.

Disappointing Stay — Significant Maintenance and Comfort ConcernsI hate to leave a negative review. This was our 6th stay in Santa Rosa and third time at Nature Walk and have never had a disappointing stay until this time. We had an issue with the hvac system, checking in at 83 degrees. The host was responsive and communicative, but at times the lengthy responses left us frustrated and it felt like an argument. It was reset by an hvac tech twice during our stay, but the majority of time spent it was uncomfortable. The humidity levels were up to 65% as well. One bathroom had visible mold. The outside of the house and the porches were also covered in mold. I’d suggest they install blinds in the bunk room, the streetlight shines directly into bedroom and our toddler couldn’t sleep in that room. The primary room has no ceiling fan. Two of the bedrooms have no dresser. I will say the beds were very comfortable. Most nights we were just too hot or cold to enjoy sleep unfortunately. Our stay was cut short with a mandatory evacuation due to hurricane. I wish the host had refunded us for the two nights but unfortunately we have to go thru a lengthy time consuming process and hopefully get something back with travel insurance.

We are disappointed by this review, particularly considering the extensive time, attention, and professional assistance our team provided throughout this guest’s stay. Our priority is always to ensure every guest has an enjoyable and comfortable vacation. We responded promptly to the guest’s numerous calls and made every reasonable effort to accommodate their concerns. Regarding the HVAC system, we arranged three visits from a licensed HVAC company. Following the initial reset, technicians confirmed the system was operating properly. The guest subsequently reported the home being too cold on multiple occasions, yet we continued providing assistance whenever requested. We have never received similar HVAC complaints from previous guests. While individual comfort preferences vary, our responsibility is to respond promptly and coordinate professional assistance, which we consistently did. Regarding the hurricane evacuation, the guest purchased travel insurance, and we explained the process for submitting a claim for reimbursement of the one unused night. We never refused assistance or told the guest to deal with it. We actually very much did the opposite. We understand that unexpected circumstances can be frustrating, but we believe our team's responsiveness and efforts deserve fair representation. Guest satisfaction remains our highest priority, and we stand behind the professionalism and care demonstrated throughout this reservation.

Wonderful stay at Nature's Walk

We loved our stay at Sea for Self in Nature's Walk. The house was beautiful, the neighborhood was quiet, the pools were nice and everything was kept clean and pristine. We usually stay in Watercolor and the neighborhood was the same feel just on the opposite side of Watercolor, behind the Publix. We would definitely return. The house came with four bikes which all worked great. We used the same company to rent a few more so we all had one(Peddlers 30A). If you plan to go to the beach or like to go to Seaside a lot or Watercolor area I would rent a golf cart. We managed with just bikes but that would be a good addition. 30A rental properties were also very helpful in answering questions.

It was nice enjoyable location. Pool and nature walk were so nice! There were a few things that made me think the property was not checked on before we came. We did have good communication with property manager and were reimbursed for grill being out of propane.

Great time at Sea for Yourself

Overall, we had a fabulous time at this Rental. There were a few things that were negatives. The sink in the guest bathroom upstairs collapsed. It was unusable for an about two days. The weirder part were the workers that were sent. My hubs, thankfully was the only one there, who is in construction management, said they were not up to par and kinda had to prompt them by asking how they were going to do some things. And then they were about to leave without even taping it off to make sure it wouldn't used for at least 24 hours. He asked if they had tape, they just went back to their van and handed it to him to go back up the stairs and do it himself! He was like, don't you want your tape back? They waved him off and said he could keep it. It was interesting. As well, we picked this particular property because of its location and beautiful ponds in front and back. Well, from early in the morning to the afternoon, we had workers out in the back replacing and rebuilding retention boards around the lake with LOUD tools, music playing (heavy metal- no offense, just not relaxing!) and shouting back and forth to each other. We Tried to go to the front to escape, nope. They had their pick up truck often running, there with a loud generator. We came From Houston and had literally just had a hurricane where we all heard generators running non stop, so we we were looking for peace and quiet where we stayed! Not so much. As well, it was advertised that there would VolleyBall and the courts were so unkept they were unusable with weeds and thorns. That said, the company was very prompt and gracious. The house REALLY WAS spacious and lovely. We used every square inch and it was perfect for us. We cooked nearly every night. We hung out in the homey living room. We sat on the porches despite the noise! The bedrooms were great! Everything was clean, roomy, comfortable, and again the house was well located in the neighborhood. Very close to the pool and the nature trail. We loved where Nature Walk is situated. Very close to the beach with a simple Bike ride and out of the 8 times we've been, this year was our favorite for the beach access point we used. It was so nice, We were thinking about trying to stay another night and contacted the company to inquire before asking the whole party if they wanted to. Unfortunately half of our party had other obligations and we were the ones driving them back, so I let the office know just before 5 that we were leaving as originally contracted, on Saturday the 27. It was definitely hard to leave, tho! We loved every minute! We are very pleased with the property and with the excellent management company. We would love to stay there again next year and will probably stay two weeks instead of one!

Pros: Wide floor plan. Close to the pool. Reasonable price. Average rental for the area.Cons: Needs ceiling fans in the master bedroom and kids' room. Needs more kitchen tools. Needs beach accessories like other nearby rentals. I would consider staying again because it was cheaper than other rentals nearby but I've enjoyed more other homes in the same neighborhood.
