Blue Back Square & West Hartford Center

Everything is 5-10 min walking distance or 5 min drive.

On a main road, due to Police station on the same street, sirens do go by the house at anytime. You are allowed to park 3 cars in the driveway, and no overnight off-street parking is allowed, or you will get a ticket. Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm street parking is allowed.

Just a charming great home, really cool history, and great upkeep and renovation. Loved the property backing up to trout brook and walking distance to Whole Foods, and shopping, Dinning, etc. Quiet neighborhood. Just an absolutely fantastic stay!

This place was perfect. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants, movie theaters, groceries, etc. in downtown West Hartford. The place had everything you could think of, from kitchen utensils, kitchen basics (oil, salt/pepper, coffee, etc.), even some nice touches like charger plugs on every nightstand. Just a real easy and pleasurable experience. If I could buy this house, I would.

We had a great stay in West Hartford. House was perfect for our families needs. 4 bedrooms, large kitchen and dining table and amazing deck. Great location. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops.

Girls Weekend

Very comfortable and clean accommodations in walking distance to stores and many restaurant options. Highly recommend for anyone needing lodging in West Hartford.

Above and Beyond in All Aspects

We are from West Hartford and raised our four children (now adults) there. My mother-in-law passed away and the family needed a place where we could all be together for the services. Mark’s place was AMAZING! On the first night there was an issue with the hot water. I called the number Mark left and within minutes he not only responded, he scheduled a plumber, installed a new hot water heater that NIGHT- and came over himself to make sure that we had what we needed, which included bringing a pack and play for our grandson- all prior to bedtime- incredible! The next morning we had an issue with the downstairs half bathroom. Once again Mark was on it in minutes. He was very thorough, incredibly responsive and had it taken care of while we were at the funeral mass.The property is lovely, and the home is so beautiful. Awesome kitchen- we love to cook and we made a dinner on Thursday night for 10 people, easily. There’s a washer/dryer off the kitchen. The home is immaculate with cozy bedding and eye masks and earplugs for those who wish to use them. The location could not be better, next door to the Police Station and the Delmar Hotel, and walking distance to all of Blueback Square without the noise and traffic. We will be using Mark’s place as our new landing spot when the family returns home. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Mark was amazing and his responsiveness and care were unparalleled. If I cpuld give 10 stars I would.

Cozy home in GREAT location!

Our family (mom, dad and 4 adult kids) stayed in this home comfortably! It was cozy and warm despite poor weather and the location was just a couple blocks from shopping/bar district. Our host provide plenty of emergency toiletries, paper products and coffee—so kind! And the beds were literally the most comfortable we’ve ever stayed in at a rental. We told all our Connecticut relatives to recommend this home to all their it of town guests!

Engagement Weekend

We stayed with friends for our engagement weekend! The house was so charming and very close to the blueback square and the center. It had plenty of space to host all of us, and was very clean and updated. We will be staying there again any chance we have!

Perfect weekend stay

We had a few couples come and stay at this adorable home for my husband’s birthday. The house had plenty of seating, comfortable beds, great outdoor spaces, and was walkable to the best parts of WeHa. We loved having coffee on the front porch each morning. We did not use our cars once. It was a great getaway. Mark is an excellent host!!!
