Hot Tub + Fire Pit | Sleeps 8 | Near Breck
Alpine Abode is a recently renovated, beautiful 3 Bedroom/2 Bathroom home tucked into 5 heavily treed acres on a quiet and secluded cul-de-sac.
The modern mountain home features family friendly living spaces, a unique vintage cook stove and incredible woodland views.
This home sits at approx.10,594 ft in a high Alpine Environment.
Enter through the spacious ground floor entertainment room where you will find cozy seating around the Smart TV with streaming options available for login and a cocktail bar stocked with beautiful glassware. *A twin-sized day bed with a twin-sized trundle is coming to the property the first week in October and photos are soon to follow.*
The large laundry room provides a full size washing machine and dryer for guest use, so no need to waste precious vacation time at the laundromat in town.
Make your way up the stairs to the second floor where you will enter a cozy open-concept Great Room and Kitchen. Relish in the Mountain Modern decor of this recently renovated space with thoughtful, unique and personal touches that will make you feel right at home.
The comfortable couch and accent chair centered around the gas stove and smart TV offers the ideal place to curl up on a brisk autumn afternoon to enjoy the quintessential high Alpine Abode.
The dining table offers comfortable seating for 6 to settle in for meal time or a good game and the well appointed kitchen ensures you have everything you need to whip up your favorite meal.
The vintage wood burning cook stove is purely decorative, but it gives the kitchen a unique feel, while the electric stove around the corner is fully functional for all your cooking and baking needs without the hassle of building a fire. Start your day off at the coffee bar with a fresh and tasty single brew on the Keurig, or make a whole pot with the coffee maker to share with those you love.
The Master Bedroom features a King size bed fitted with luxurious cotton bed linens, a smart TV, a large dresser, spacious closet and windows that offer beautiful woodland views. The central retro style bathroom features a standard vanity, toilet and a bathtub/shower combo so you can choose to start the day with a quick and refreshing rinse or you can sink in for a long, hot soak after all the activities a day in the Colorado Rocky Mountains may afford.
Up the newly carpeted stairs to the loft, youâll find a cozy bedroom with a Queen size bed fitted with luxurious cotton bed linens, a velvety accent chair, large closet and a window that offers elevated woodland views. The central retro style Bathroom features a standard vanity, toilet and a bathtub/shower combo so you can choose to start the day with a quick and refreshing rinse or sink in for a long, hot soak.
Across the hall is a spacious bedroom with a King size bed fitted with luxurious cotton bed linens, a desk space perfect for work or game play, a large closet and windows that offer elevated woodland views.
Outdoors, the large elevated deck on the front of the home offers ample outdoor seating, a propane BBQ grill and incredible woodland views. Placer Valley is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe Elk, Deer and Foxes (just to name a few of the critters!) right on the property. Additionally, you may be able to see moose in their natural habitat in the nearby wetland area located less than 1 mile from the cabin.
Note: the driveway is plowed in the winter and the roadways are maintained by the county, but 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED from November through May due to the frequent snow storms in this area.
Park County is an activity center of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it`s a great `Base Camp!` If you can think of an outdoor activity, you will probably find it within 10-20 minutes of the cabin. Activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, snow-shoeing, horseback riding (winter too!), ice climbing, fishing, hunting, rafting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, mine exploration, canoeing, kayaking, and much much more.
