Updated 1939 cottage with beautiful park view


The house is within walking distance from Whitman College, downtown Walla Walla, wine tasting rooms, restaurants, and unique shops.

The bus stop is about 100 yards away.

Just across the street from the beautiful Pioneer Park, and with a private backyard, the house is immersed in the landscape.
It features two bedrooms, and a completely updated bathroom, accomocating up to 4 guest on the main floor level. The daylight basement with two extra bedrooms, a bathroom, and large living room can be also made available for larger groups up to 8 people. Extra fees will apply. Otherwise access to the basement level is restricted to the use of the laundry room only.

This cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation, good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
The space
This is a 1939 cottage that has been updated to welcome our guests, while retaining the architectural character as details of that period.

The rooms feature comfortable beds and hight quality linens.

The contemporary style bathrooms feature large showers, Shampoo and conditioner, and soft towels.

Kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to enjoy a nice home cooked meal.

The living room on the main level offers a fantastic view of Pioneer Park with its large picture window, and it is a great place to relax to watch TV, or sit by the fireplace in the evening.

This home is adult only, and not suitable for children.

This property is smoking and pet free.

Guest access:
You will have access to the main level bedrooms, bathroom and living areas. Upon request, extra accomodation for larger groups ( max 8 people) in the basement can be arranges and additional fees will apply

The backyard offers a covered patio perfect for dining outside, and areas to relax in the sun or enjoy the summer evenings in a very private setting around the firepit.

This updated cottage is darling. Easy to get to and everything needed is stocked and easy to fine. Backyard is private and the park across the street is beautiful to look at out the picture window. Definitely would stay here again!

My sister and I had a great stay at this property. The house and outdoor spaces are beautiful and well-appointed. Communication with the owner was smooth. The house is an easy drive to many wineries and downtown Walla Walla with its fun restaurants and tasting rooms. The house is directly across from a beautiful park. We would definitely return!

Great place!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Short trip to downtown and nearby wineries. Comfortable sleeping, nice amenities. The weather wasn't conducive to enjoying the outdoors, but all of the necessary accoutrements are there.

Spring Break Wine Trip in Walla Walla, Wa

Very cute little cottage. As a retired former art teacher I, and my family, really enjoyed and appreciated all the wonderful pieces of art throughout the house. The location made it easy for us to walk downtown to explore and dine out. Thank you for the nice lodging experience.

Great home in a great location

Cozy home that helped us stay cool at night and right across the street from a great park! My only concern was the very tight parking with very skinny driveway. We made two cars work but larger pickups or SUV would have to street park. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Owner very accommodating. We had a couple of “glitches “ which he was prompt in addressing. Nice house, perfect for 2 couples. Only concern, driveway is very narrow with fence on one side and house on the other side.

Family Visit with Family

Great location for us near Oddfellows to celebrate mom-in-laws 96th birthday. Within walking distance of restaurants and shops in downtown Walla Walla. The host was friendly and helpful as well as easy to contact.The beds were comfortable. Lovely living room with comfortable seating for 6-7 guests. Created several meals with good quality cookware. Loved the double sinks in the bathroom with plenty of counter space and the walk in shower with large rainhead and handheld-several times persons showering took way too long. Appreciated having nice new clean towels with extras in both the bath and kitchen.I recommend the location heartily.

Very nicely appointed, good location

This house is very nicely furnished with a great design sense. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom had everything needed for our stay. We would stay there again. We had a little glitch with the thermostat settings, but the proprietor was super responsive and corrected the problem immediately. The location has its pros and cons. Being across the street from Pioneer Park was a big positive for us since we brought our dog and the park was great for walks. But street noise was sometimes noticeable, especially from the front bedroom, because East Alder Street is a major local arterial; traffic is mostly moderate/light, but persistent. For access to local retail & restaurants, it's one mile to the center of WW which we felt was too long to walk, but it's a quick, easy drive. Bicycling would be perfect on a nice day.
