Nos hĂŽtes franchissent la porte et tombent amoureux de la chaleur et du charme fougueux de notre Casa Cavatappi ("Maison du tire-bouchon" en italien), une maison d'artisan restaurĂ©e de 1922 situĂ©e dans un quartier rĂ©sidentiel distance de marche du centre-ville de Walla Walla et Whitman College. Peut accueillir 2 Ă  12 personnes, avec 4 chambres (3 avec lits queen size et 1 avec deux lits jumeaux), plus deux canapĂ©s-lits simples et un lit gigogne. A 3 salles de bains, une Ă  chaque Ă©tage. Avec une chambre et salle de bain Ă  l'Ă©tage principal, la maison est une retraite confortable pour 2 personnes. Pour un plus grand groupe, les espaces de divertissement sont conçus pour la socialisation et les activitĂ©s de groupe, ainsi que pour la recherche de temps privĂ© et tranquille. Une grande salle de tĂ©lĂ©vision et d’activitĂ©s est situĂ©e au rez-de-chaussĂ©e, sĂ©parĂ©e du rez-de-chaussĂ©e. Une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e qui sert aux repas de famille quotidiens ou aux dĂźners gastronomiques. Un garde-manger prĂȘtant des ingrĂ©dients de base pour la cuisine. Une table Ă  manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'Ă  10 personnes et deux barres de cuisine avec tabourets pour les repas informels ou les conversations. Une terrasse avec barbecue, table et parasols donne sur une cour arriĂšre entiĂšrement clĂŽturĂ©e. Stationnement hors rue pour 3 vĂ©hicules plus grand stationnement dans la rue. Deux vĂ©los pour votre usage. Chien amical avec certaines restrictions.

Four friends gathered and had a great time in the home and exploring the town. Comfy gathering spaces and a large dining table for puzzling. Kitchen had everything we needed.

This vintage house made for a wonderful get together for 3 couples. The fully stocked kitchen was easy to cook in, and having a bathroom and bedroom(s) on each level gave us each our own floor. Walking through the neighborhoods to get to the park and downtown area was one of our favorite things. Great location!

Best for shorter folks as the tub/shower combo is barely 6 feet from floor of tub to ceiling. Utilizes a handheld sprayer.Overall an excellent value and location

We are 4 best friends for decades who seek a rendezvous location every couple of years. We hit the Jackpot with this charming home in the heart of Walla Walla! It was like walking into our Grandma's home! The open central kitchen and large dining table was perfect for sharing dinners and catching up. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms we had privacy yet plenty of central space for gathering. The host is an amazing communicator! Each time I texted she was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed morning walks to nearby Pioneer Park -- gotta love that! The kitchen is very well stocked and the TV room downstairs offers plenty of cozy seating and a game table. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay! This home would be great for a family or even two with it's three levels, patio with barbecue and just a minute or two to downtown shops and restaurants. We will keep this charmer at the top of the list for our next getaway.

Good stay in Walla Walla!

PROs: Renovated old house with lots of character and great detail. Roomy fenced yard, great for dogs (we ended up not bringing ours). Quaint neighborhood, ample driveway street parking. Very roomy for three couples (a 4th bedroom is available, but single beds). Each couple can enjoy privacy (bedrooms/ bathrooms on 1st & 2nd floor, and basement). Cool fireplace.CONs: My mother-in-law commented on cleanliness, which I noted can be an issue with most dog-friendly older houses. 1 mile to downtown, which could be an enjoyable stroll, but it mostly rained during our stay. Located on fairly loud street.Bottom line: We'd stay again if bringing our dog. Otherwise, we'd want to be closer to downtown wineries/ restaurants.

Lovely Home

This home was everything as described. There is so much space and the home is stocked with many necessities. The homeowner was incredibly easy to work with and is very accommodating. I would love to stay there again!

Cozy and Convenient

What a great house! We have a daughter that goes to college in Walla Walla and this was the perfect location for us. This house was FULLY loaded with everything you could need especially in the kitchen. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Would definitely rent again.

Great Multi Family House

Really nice for more than one family. There are 3 different areas for private sleeping and bathing with large kitchen and dining area for gathering. There are also sitting areas for quiet time. The host is extremely helpful when communicating by email with any questions about the house before you arrive. We had no reason to contact her after arrival as the place is wonderful. I love to cook and entertain friends. I've also been known to indulge in a glass of wine or two (only red!).
I loved Casa Cavatappi the minute I stepped thru the front door. The open floor plan, wonderful kitchen, cozy spots for reading, and a deck footsteps from the kitchen. It is the perfect home for enjoying life.

Several years ago my parents and I visited Walla Walla as my Dad was born and raised here. We visited his childhood homes, went to spots where he spent time as a child, and visited the cemetery where his ancestors are buried.
I loved everything about Walla Walla and decided to retire here. There is great food, wineries, friendly people, a vibrant downtown, unique shopping and music. All this in a small town was quite a find!
