The house, that feels so much like a home, was clean and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and gathering around the large dining table was great. The location is close to hiking trails and beach. There are coffee shops, restaurants and grocery store within walking distance.We would definitely stay here again,.

The place was exactly as it looked and fit our needs perfectly. Thea was an amazing host. When she learned I was there for knee surgery, she sent items to help make my recovery easier! I don’t know if there is any other host who would do something as caring as that!!!

We had an amazing time at the house. My kids loved having a park next door that they walk over to, while my wife and I enjoyed the beautiful backyard garden. The location was stunning and we will be returning next time we're up in Mill Valley!

This place is a gem! Very spacious and a great layout for our two families to stay comfortably. The outdoor garden is magical and the perfect place to relax while the kids play. Thea was so accommodating and responsive throughout. We would love to come back and maybe even bring our pup! She would love the dog park right out of the back while our kiddo plays at the playground. Thank you, Thea!

Perfect place to stay while exploring Mill Valley, Sausalito, Muir Woods, Stinson beach.Enjoyed the bright airy house with the beautiful gardens in front and back. Well stocked kitchen. Loved the espresso maker in the morning. Location is great, surprised at how easy it is to get to San Francisco from the this place.

A Beautiful Healing Haven — The Perfect Home Away from Home!My husband and I spent almost two weeks in this charming country home while I recovered from knee replacement surgery. It was absolutely perfect!The location is ideal—close to Redwood City for medical appointments and within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and Good Earth Natural Foods.The home is clean cozy and is filled with natural light, comfortable furnishings, cozy beds, and a well-equipped kitchen with all the thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home.My favorite spot was the gorgeous Italian-style patio garden, where I spent my days basking in the sunshine in the zero-gravity chairs, soaking up Mother Nature’s healing energy.Our wonderful host, Thea, went above and beyond. Having experienced knee replacement surgery herself, she anticipated my needs and made sure I had everything for a comfortable recovery. I especially appreciated the cozy recliner for sleeping during those first few nights, the deliciously comfortable queen bed, and the extra bedroom where my husband could escape when I got grumpy!Whether you’re healing from surgery or simply looking for a peaceful getaway near San Francisco, this home is a gem.We are deeply grateful for every day we spent here and would return in a heartbeat!

Our family of 5 had a great time staying here! Our oldest stayed in the 2nd room, our 10yo slept on the pullout, and our 8yo slept on the couch. Both beds, the pullout, and the couch were very comfortable. The home was well appointed, and the garden was amazing. The best part for our daughters was that the gate in the backyard opened to a small community dog park with a playground. All of the dogs were friendly, and everyone in the neighborhood was extremely welcoming to our family. The opportunity to play with a half dozen friendly dogs was a great start and end to their days!The home served as a great base camp for both San Francisco and Muir Woods National Monument, both about 20 minutes away. It was nice to be able to enjoy all the city had to offer without staying directly in the city. Thank you Thea for sharing your home with us!

The listing cannot capture the magic of this rental. We were so happy to spend time in the clean, serene home, but the beautiful yard is an incredible sanctuary, and the location cannot be beat. We hope to come back again and again. The host was responsive, kind, helpful.

Lovely house in a great location! Large kitchen for cooking, large dining area and living room. Comfortable beds in both bedrooms. We loved having a lot of natural light from the dining area windows and hanging out in the garden area with our dogs. It was great to have the small dog park just out the back gate. Host was easy to communicate with. Loved being near Tennessee Valley trail and other hiking trails. Also, easy to get to Mill Valley and the highway. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here with our family over Christmas 2025. The house was an ideal size for our group—comfortable, well laid out, and easy to settle into. We especially loved the backyard, which was a great bonus for relaxing and spending time together. The host was very responsive, and the Mill Valley location is fantastic—quiet, beautiful, and perfectly situated for exploring Marin. With quick and easy access in and out of San Francisco, we’d absolutely recommend this spot.

We had a relaxing stay at Thea’s over Thanksgiving week. Her home is spotless, cozy and has everything you need for a week in Marin. Her kitchen is extremely well equipped and we were able to cook up a Thanksgiving feast. The location is excellent for exploring Marin and the surrounding recreation areas. We would gladly return!

This property could not have been cozier and more convenient for my vacation. It was a quick drive into San Francisco or to the restaurants and boutiques of Mill Valley. Being so close to Shoreline Hwy, I could easily get to beaches and hiking trails to take advantage of the sunny weather. The house and neighborhood are quiet - if you're looking for a relaxing spot, look no further and book here!
