This was everything we were looking for in a rental! Clean, lakefront, kayaks, lots of space to spread out and a basketball hoop in the garage. When we had to contact Christopher during our stay, his response was immediate.

Property is beautiful. Lake is gorgeous. The weather did not cooperate for us to be able to swim but it was still a beautiful view. Do not hesitate to book this property.

The property is amazing. The host is easy to communicate with and strives to meet your requests. The views from this property (late August 2026) between the sunsets behind the property and the strawberry moon over the lake was breathtaking. We had guests from FL, SD, KS, MO, PA, and AZ. All were stopping by in the evenings to reload on the pictures. The inside slept 10 easily. Everything was spotless. We held a reception, the additional tent and shelter were in perfect condition. The host ensured the grounds were recently mowed, trimmed around the edge of the pond. He knew what the occasion was and ensured he provided a park like setting. Can not give this business enough credit or stars.

We spoke with Chris upon arrival his responded quickly and answered all questions we had. Once we got to the rental everything was as described and clean. We planned this trip for a short get away where the kids could fish while we relaxed. We used kayaks and life vest provided and caught fish throughout the day from blue gill, bass, crappie to catfish. We used the fire pit at night while cat fishing to make s’mores! We loved that there was space for our youngest ( 10 & 8) to play basketball, ride scooters etc in the cooler air while the older kids fished. Loved the tv on the porch where my husband and I could sit back and watch the kids and take in the views of this beautiful property! We are already planning a trip back! We traveled to mammoth cave and Kentucky down under both places we recommend! You have a save-a-lot and dollar general market 10 min down the road! We also traveled to Elizabeth town and enjoyed gulf coast seafood ( about 20 min from rental) Everything was so fresh and a spot we will continue to go back to! Our trip was a success lots of memories made! Places we will continue to come back to!

Great Stay with Friends

This is a fantastic place to stay with families and friends. A relaxing environment yet we were still able to take day trips to see Mammoth National Park, Abraham Lincoln's birthplace and Louisville Slugger Museum. When we weren't going on excursions, the kids (and adults) LOVED playing basketball in the gym while watching March Madness.

Amazing property that is very well-appointed. We never left the house the 4 days we were there! The lake is amazing and clean, perfect to paddle board on. Lots of land to play with your dog and nice memory foam beds. This is one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed at!

This was our second stay at this amazing property. It was just as magical as the first trip. It provided a perfecr set up for a birthday party for both of my kids. It was a cold and snowy weekend, but the kids were warm and entertained the entire trip. This property is a gem.

Rain

We booked this to tour Mammoth Caves. Caves were closed due to rain and flooding. This property was so awesome that my kids didn’t mind being stranded there. Garage is a great hang out and bigger than it looks in pictures. Definitely did not disappoint.

Awesome accommodations, amazing lake, views, and wildlife, that was all detoured when we lost our 8 yr old Lab. She was missing for 48 hours, however let me tell you about the loving and wonderful people in this community and close neighbors, who all pitched in by spreading the word and even physically searching themselves. We found her alive and well. Then enjoyed our last day on the lake, and property catching numerous catfish and bass. Geese fly in the evening and overnight, then leave to feed in the morning. Hodgenville is a short drive, to get groceries or restaurants. Would recommend this property to any and all, whether families and children, or just a couple like us needing time away.

We came to town to play at the Ripken baseball park in Elizabethtown. We had 3 families. Boys all 14 +. They had THE BEST time. Fishing. Playing basketball. Cornhole. Us parents had a blast too! 25 mins from the ballpark. Would 100% recommend! We put all the boys in the loft on the couch and air mattresses.

Perfection

This place was absolutely beautiful. Fishing on the pond watching the geese fly in and out throughout the day. Rocking on the porch and stargazing at night. The amenities were so nice to have when we wanted a break from the outdoors. Basketball and corn hole in the garage with great speakers for our music. My girls loved riding their scooters through the huge garage area. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. They also had plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, etc to get us started. All of the beds and couches were comfy and we felt right at home! Not one issue during our stay. We definitely plan to stay again in the future! Best spring break our family has had in a long time.

This property is very private, peaceful and secluded. The Views are breathtaking as soon as you pull into the property.
