Lovely cabin in the woods. Home was clean and well taken care of. Looks like the pictures and exactly what we expected. Mostly secluded area, there were other people staying in cabins but far enough apart that we felt like no one was around. Hot tub was amazing and a great way to relax. We loved that we were able to bring our dog. We would stay here again and next time bring our son.

We loved our stay here! It was a very last minute booking and we had a few little bumps in the road at the beginning of our stay - we lost power and water due to weather for one full day, but the host was great to keep us updated with lead times on restoration. The home as a whole was clean & it seemed as if all the bedding and towels had been freshly washed (you could smell the detergent), but I definitely feel as if the linens are well past due for a little refresher, just in my personal opinion! The towels seemed very old and were dingy and stained, as well as some of the bedding.. the pillows were a little puny too. But all in all, we loved our stay and would book again!

The cabin was cute and cozy and the location was very secluded and practical being halfway between Logan and the Hocking Hills trails about a 15 minutes drive from each. The hot tub was clean and welcome after a day of hiking. As we were made aware of, the well water had a strong sulfur smell and there were visible hard-water deposits in the sinks and toilet. The king size bed was very comfortable. The furniture was good. The kitchen was very basic with a stove, refrigerator and small microwave. The dishes were old, stained and mismatched and the bath towels provided were small and worn. Overall, we would stay here again, but if you are looking for a luxury accommodation, this is not it.

This was a very enjoyable, quiet, clean, and relaxing place to stay!

This was a very nice location to stay, close to everything you would wanna do in hocking hills. The hot tub was perfect after a nice hike. Very quiet at night, perfect for a fire out in the yard.

Easy drive from cabin to Hocking Hills. Nice cabin with a big porch in a quiet setting. Loved it.

Cute cabin in the woods, very rustic

My partner and I spent a long weekend at the Shawnee cabin. It had everything we needed. The deck and hot tub were very private. Close to the trails! Hot tub needed to be cleaned.

The cabin was a nice weekend getaway for 2.

The bed was comfortable and the cabin was neat. However, only half of the jets in the hot tub worked and the bathtub was stained from I'm assuming hard water. Other than that loved the getaway.

Time Away

Overall the cabin was very good. Clean, well maintained, and nice size. The booking was very easy and communications great. Being Townies, we were not use to well water and the effects of the humidity. But that is on us not the property owners or handlers. Very good experience. Recommend.
