Welcome to this vibrant downtown retreat! Originally built in 1905 and recently renovated, this colorful home blends historic charm with modern comfort. With eight uniquely styled bedrooms and eight beautifully updated bathrooms, there's plenty of space for everyone. The bright, modern kitchen serves as the heart of the home, perfect for gathering with family and friends. Large front windows fill the space with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a lively, stylish, and comfortable stay in this one-of-a-kind property.
The Space:
The interior features an extra large primary bedroom with a King bed, a fireplace (non-working), and an en suite full bathroom. The Queen Bedrooms offer a large space, a fireplace (non-working), and antique furnishings. Across the hall you'll find a charming bedroom and plenty of closet space. Rooms share the full bath in the hallway. There is a full-size washer and dryer.The large living area features a queen-size sofa bed. The kitchen is newly renovated and includes open shelving and new appliances, as well as dining for 8.
Flora House spans the entire top floor of a grand Charleston house built in 1905. With modern updated conveniences, Flora House also retains the charm of her old world beginnings, including original wood floors, fireplaces (non-working) and window panes. The interior features an extra large primary bedroom with a King bed, a fireplace (non-working), and an en suite full bathroom. The Queen Bedroom offers a large space, a fireplace (non-working), and antique furnishings. Across the hall is a charming bedroom and plenty of closet space. Both rooms share the full bath in the hallway. There is a full-size washer and dryer. The living area offers a queen-size sofabed plus a nook office with huge windows and natural light. The kitchen is newly renovated and includes open shelving and new appliances.
Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families.
This is unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2025-06570
Guest Access:
Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.

The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough-Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The house is minutes to the very popular Upper King Street district, where you will find a multitude of great shops, bookstores, and fashion boutiques - as well as amazing restaurants!

You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services:

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.

Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:

⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.

We had a wonderful time at the home and communication was excellent. The only note I wanted to make for future travelers is that this was 2 units next to each other. From the description we had assumed we would be in 1 house. It worked OK for our group but could make a difference for someone else. Everything with the home was clean, beautiful, and the location was ideal! Thank you for a great stay!
