Bienvenue au Beaver Pond Lodge. Cette cabine de montagne magnifique a tout ce que vous cherchez. De belles vues sur l'étang et un bain à remous privé en font l'endroit idéal pour votre prochaine escapade. Cette maison est idéalement située à seulement 1,6 km de la station de ski de Durango Mountain, dans un cadre calme et relaxant. Vous pouvez profiter de tout ce que la station a à offrir et se sentir encore niché dans la beauté paisible de la nature. L'étage principal a un salon ouvert et salle à manger à la cuisine, qui est un rêve de cuisinier avec de nouveaux appareils et beaucoup d'espace. La salle de séjour a de grandes baies vitrées pour se blottir au coin du feu et profiter de la vue. L'un des canapés est également un canapé-lit pour des options de couchage supplémentaires. Il y a une salle à manger pour 8, ainsi qu'un bar pour 4 personnes. Également situé à l'étage principal est la suite principale, complète avec lit king, une vue magnifique et sa propre salle de bain privée. Une autre chambre avec lit queen est à cet étage, ainsi qu'une salle de bain complète. A l'étage dans le loft est un grand téléviseur à écran plat et des canapés pour se mettre à l'aise et regarder un film. Deux autres chambres se trouvent à cet étage, chacune avec un lit queen et un bain partagé. Il y a un autre canapé-lit ici dans le loft pour encore plus d'options de couchage. La grande salle de bonus de sous-sol a une couchette double et beaucoup d'espace pour les enfants à courir et à jouer. Situé sur la terrasse arrière est un bain à remous privé parfait pour se détendre après une longue journée d'activités de montagne. Vous pouvez également vous asseoir dans l'une des nombreuses chaises Adirondack à l'avant et profiter de la belle étang. Vous pourriez même voir un castor travailler sur sa maison! Peu importe la saison où vous décidez de venir à Durango, nous sommes sûrs que vous apprécierez votre séjour au Beaver Pond Lodge.

Great place!!

A beautiful home. So convenient to the ski slopes. Peaceful and quiet. Plenty of room for a large family vacation. Definitely will try to book it again if we go back to Purgatory.

The Cabin was nice. I was expecting the pond to be big enough to take the kayak out on, but wasn't. Found a big cockroach under my wife's pillow, not sure how it got there, but was definitely a cockroach. The fire alarms started chirping during the day, so we disabled a couple of them to get them to stop and let the owners know, but no follow up. No garage door opener or code so we had to go into the garage to push the opener. Overall the place was nice and location was good, very close to Purgatory.

Perfect Floorplan, Excellent Location

The lodge is nicely designed to accommodate a few families. For instance, we had a small family reunion consisting of two families of five and the grandparents. Not only is their ample space, but the location is also such that children can safely play outdoors. What certainly had us pleased is the fact that the owners do have “rules.” For example, shoes are not permitted in the home, which is culturally what we prefer. That automatically assured us that we were occupying a cleaner home. The home is centrally located between Durango and Silverton, and it is a mere 4 minute drive to Purgatory. We would certainly stay here again.

Perfect Establishment for a Family Vacation

Home provided everything we needed with ample space and all the items needed for a gateway escape. Enjoyed the privacy it provided, the close location to Purgatory ski resort and how cleaned and organized home was. Already planning a summer trip and hoping we can rent property once more. Thank you all for being such great hosts!

great location to purgatory

t sleep 12 at property as advertised is a stretch. we had 11 and had people sleeping on the couch. Its four bedrooms as advertised with two extra full size mattresses in bottom game room.

Even nicer and roomier than it appears

Perfect layout for families. Great kitchen and the basement playroom/bunk was a real plus. Property management came right over to adjust the hot tub for us. The area is beautiful with lots to do. Only suggestion would be to get better towels for bathrooms.

Wonderful spacious house with great amenities.

My family and I stayed a week here during this summer (10 people) and we all really enjoyed this house. It was clean and everything was nice. The house is so spacious and roomy for everyone to have their own space and still be close. We really enjoyed the views and scenery. We truly had a wonderful time here. Look forward to visiting the area again.

We had a great stay. It was perfect to accommodate the 7 adults and 2 babies in our party. The convenience of being less than 5 min from Purgatory was great. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking pots and pans. The hot tub felt great after a day on the slopes. We will definitely consider staying here next year.

The Cabin was immaculate and the views were stunning!

We had a wonderful time! We had three families come together for the Thanksgiving weekend and we had plenty of room. The cabin is everything it's reviews say it is and more. The house itself is immaculate, cozy and accommodating. The main floor plan is perfect for lots of guests and the open space provides ease of interaction. The kids had a blast hanging out at the pond and the hot tub. The wives wanted to hang out downstairs and the rest of us wanted to watch sports upstairs. Purgatory / Durango Ski Resort is literally less than a minute drive and you are surrounded by mountains so the views are great! I will definitely book this location again. Thanks!!

Wonderful Stay

When we arrived, the place looked and smelled like it had just been cleaned. Nicest Hot Tub I've even been in, and an amazing view. You can see the 550 highway, but its far enough away you can't really hear the traffic or be seen. The rest of the view is mountains and just stunning. We had ten people total, two families with two kids each and a couple (grandparents). Tons of room. Our teenage boys loved the "teen cave" with the twin beds. My 15 year old used the loft sofa sleeper and loved it. We were there 3 days. There are 3 bathrooms, which worked for our group, but something to keep in mind. The kitchen plates, bowls, pans, everything was supplied and so nice - nicer than my home! We loved looking out those gorgeous windows, and saw beaver, deer and tons of squirrels and chipmunks. Nicest hot tub I've even been in, water was very clean and clear. Sitting in the hot tub on the back porch, wonderful view of the woods - we saw a deer while sitting in there. It is a good 30 minute trip to Durango, so be aware of that when planning. Although we didn't go this trip, it is probably about the same distance to Silverton (a great little town). We all loved it, didn't want to leave, and hope to stay again!

Perfect big mountain house!

This house was perfect for our 3 families! Gorgeous Windows on every wall in the kitchen/great room made for a perfect view of the snow & mountains. Eating area was perfect for our large group & the garage was super convenient for snow gear. We used the hot tub every evening & the laundry room was perfect for drying our wet/snowy clothes. Great bathroom access for all the bedrooms, and plenty of separate living space for all ages in our group. A convenient 1 mile drive to Purgatory ski resort, and right across from a great restaurant. Perfect house - we would definitely rent this property again!

Thanksgiving in the mountains

Our family that included 11 people, with 3 children enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving dinner, playing cards,building snowmen, sledding and skiing. The house was clean and tidy. My only want would have been a nice t.v. and shades for the basement.

Beaver Pond Lodge

We were amazed by the amenities of the house. This is a 4 bedroom with 2 full living areas and a game room with bunk beds. The view from the house in all directions was breathtaking. We could see snow in little valleys on the tops of the mountains out the front windows. Pricing was very reasonable for such a large house.
