I’m sorry you didn’t realize the unit is a basement apartment. While it is mentioned in the listing, your feedback is helpful, and we’ll take another look at the description to see if we can make that clearer for future guests. I’m also sorry that the noise from upstairs impacted your stay, as you know a toddler likes to exercise their little legs haha. The people who lives upstairs are very kind and helps us manage the property. They are also typically very mindful when guests are staying. We will certainly pass along your feedback and remind them to be extra conscious of noise levels. Regarding the floors and kitchen table, thank you for bringing that to our attention. We’ll follow up with our cleaning team to make sure there isn’t any residue being left behind from cleaning products. As for the kitchen, we were surprised to hear it felt difficult to cook in, as we do try to keep it stocked with a variety of cookware. The kitchen includes four medium pots, one extra-large pot, small, medium, and large frying pans, cookie sheets, a bread pan, casserole dish, and muffin pan. The dishes are plastic but are microwave-safe. We also keep seasonings fairly basic with oil, salt, and pepper since guests’ cooking preferences vary so much. If there were specific items you felt were missing, we’d genuinely appreciate your suggestions so we can continue improving the space. I’m sorry there was confusion regarding the washcloths. We have recently reviewed this with our cleaning team and asked them to make sure washcloths are placed in the correct linen closet and clearly labeled so they are easier for guests to locate.
