We were very surprised to receive this review, as none of these concerns were brought to our attention at any point during the guest’s stay. Had we been contacted, we would have been happy to address any concern immediately. For clarification for future guests, the lawn was mowed the day before this guest’s arrival, so the description of the exterior as “unkept” does not reflect the condition of the property at check-in. Our hot tub is cleaned and serviced between every reservation, and our cleaners provide time-stamped photos documenting its condition after each turnover. We have documentation from this stay showing it was cleaned and prepared for the guest’s arrival. This stay also occurred during the extreme August heat in East Texas, when temperatures were reaching triple digits. The home’s AC was operational, and we have an additional cooling system specifically to assist the primary unit during periods of extreme summer heat. The Dome Home is located in a wooded East Texas setting. During our hottest months, small insects naturally seek water and cooler temperatures and can occasionally enter when exterior doors are opened. We take preventative measures, but an occasional insect entering a rural property is unfortunately something no property owner can completely prevent.
