we had a wonderful relaxing time. The owner placed a trundle daybed on the first floor for those who could not do steps. The other three bedrooms were upstairs ..lots of spacious room. Beautiful view of the lake from the back deck and master bedroom upstairs. convenience of a pizza place within walking distance plus a dollar store. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware needed plus Griddle. There was both a coffee pot and Keurig all brand new regular appliances. All paper products were provided. No complaints from this group of six sisters and their mom ❤️ We had a wonderful time! Our host could not have been more helpful

Great Communication with owner But house was not as expected.
I want to start by saying the owner did issue us a refund and was excellent to work with. He also offered us a discounted stay at a later date. The cons: the house is up for sale and looks almost staged rather than a living space. There were no amenities in the house such as plates, coffee maker soaps, and toilet paper. The owner said these items would be addressed as he was in Florida for the winter so he was not around to check on the house. What the deal killer was is the upstairs porch had a missing railing and with 2 kids under 5 we couldn't stay there as it was a safety risk. However, the owner said he would correct these issues. the house is in a great location on the lake and is privet with a dock that needs some repair as it was not usable when we stayed. there were missing deck boards, minor repairs but again not usable with young kids.

I have been coming to Lake Milton since the early 80s. I know the area well and I can point you in the right direction depending on your preferences.

This home is located between the bridges. That means there is no wake so you can enjoy the calm water. If you have a boat you can easily access the north end of the lake towards the dam which is the larger side. The south end is also easily accessed under the Mahoning Ave bridge. This location is also centered for a lot of food and drink options as well. Some are within walking distance and others are just a short drive.
