Otter Lane Pays Carriage House - Baccalauréat Executive Suite

Si vous souhaitez vous échapper de l'agitation de la vie urbaine, voici une nouvelle maison de carrosseries très abordable. Otter Lane est un sanctuaire de 450 pieds carrés chaleureuse et relaxante située à seulement une heure du centre-ville de Vancouver. Il dispose d'une suite de baccalauréat entièrement contenue dessus d'un garage détaché situé sur dix acres de belles dans le sud de Langley. La ferme comprend un étang, un cheval, des poulets, un chien et un chat, ainsi qu’un hibou et une chouette résidente. La maison de transport, conçue et construite par le propriétaire, a été achevée en septembre 2011 et comprend un parking sur place, un accès Internet complet et une grande intimité. Cette suite est entièrement équipée et meublée avec goût pour le confort.
Idéalement situé à 15 minutes de la route transcanadienne (route 1), à 5 minutes de la frontière Aldergrove aux Etats-Unis, 45 minutes du terminal de Tsawwassen de ferry, 15 minutes de l'aéroport d'Abbotsford (YXX), 50 minutes de l'aéroport international de Vancouver ( YVR), à 15 minutes de Thunderbird Horse Show Park et environ 25 minutes en voiture le long des routes de campagne tranquilles au village historique de Fort Langley.
Que ce soit pour affaires ou par plaisir, spectacle équestre ou d'une convention, le week-end get-a-way ou un séjour prolongé, notre maison d'entraîneur idéalement situé permet des déplacements rapides et faciles à votre destination. We loved the property. There is also an outside deck to enjoy. The hosts were lovely and hospitable. Everything was very clean, which I always appreciate! Because perhaps we are in our 70s, the bed mattress was too soft for us, but for others that might be The perfect thing. :-) Thank you to Caroline and Larry for a lovely stay. Much appreciated and stay well. :-)

We live in Vancouver and just wanted a quiet getaway for thanksgiving weekend... it was perfect! Has everything you could need, full kitchen, washer/dryer, a huge balcony, and the cable has more channels than I've ever seen lol... close to wineries and we went out for dinner every night in Aldergrove, which was only 10 mins away. I was teasing afterwards that maybe they'd let me sign a 1 year lease on the place, but no dice :-) We'll definitely be coming out again!

Could not have hoped for a better place to stay a few weeks. Peaceful country setting with only the frogs, birds or horse to break the complete silence but less than :10 to town. Prepare to want to move here after your stay!

Thanksgiving

Lovely place to stay for thanksgiving weekend. Property was in a lovely location and the accommodations were all we could ask for. The hosts had supplied their suite over and above what one could expect. Would definitely look forward to staying there again.

Quietness and peacefull

Beautiful inside and out,everything you need in the property and very nice decor.peace and quie t,out amongst the farms but only 10 mins from civilisation. Could,nt fault it and next time we return to canada i,m sure this place will be top of our list of where to stay.

The carriage house was very well appointed with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Great views, nice trails for a ride/walk. Close enough to town to be convenient, far enough away to very very quiet and safe. We will be back!!

Beautiful getaway!

Beautiful little space. Well equipped with everything we needed. The host is lovely and very friendly. She even put cream in the fridge for my morning coffee! Very thoughtful. The setting and the property is absolutely beautiful and so quiet. So nice to come back to at the end of the day. Easy check in process as well. I would highly recommend this property!

One of the memorable places in our travels

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The amenities are wonderful and beyond our expectations. The bathroom is great. The kitchenette was fully equipped with more than the basics which was wonderful. Farm fresh eggs, club soda water and bottles of mineral water were welcome treats. The bed was great as well and we had restful sleeps which rejuvenated us to do more sightseeing during the day. The drive to and from the cottage is not a problem because there are wonderful sights worth looking at. The TV was awesome and there is a wide array of DVDs to watch, it is just that they don't subscribe to Fox News, but that's alright. The internet was quick and sharp and so with cellphone connection there was no problem at all. The description of the property and the pictures posted online are accurate and as expected. The place was well maintained and clean so are the bedding, towels and linen. Everything is just wonderful and at the end of the day, going back to the place is a restful respite knowing that everything close to home is available. The owner is great and a wonderful lady. We too met her two children who were both very accomodating and knowledgeable. We met Dexter the dog who was very friendly and nice. Overall rating from 1 - 10, 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest, we would rate this place 9. We would love going to this place again and we would gladly recommend this to our family and friends....

Lovely place and lovely owners! This is truly a home away from home and not just a cliche. So much attention has been paid to detail, from design and cleanliness, to the touches of hospitality for enjoying a comfortable and relaxing stay. Caroline and Larry have thought of everything! We booked for almost seven weeks over the Christmas holidays to visit family and friends. It was easy to find, and we arrived just as a rare snowstorm hit and were so pleased with how welcoming and cozy the carriage house was. Our visit continued through a significant cold snap, another (bigger) snowstorm, an impressive ice storm…and oh yeah, a sudden available appointment for wisdom teeth removal. This place was such a great hideaway from the world during all that, and we stayed inside more than is our habit. (Something about the gas fireplace and those heated tile floors in the bathroom and kitchen nook…mmmm.) Can’t help but think of those holiday lyrics: “Oh, the weather outside is frightful…let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!” The owners are friendly, thoughtful and kind, responsive and very, very accommodating. They went out of their way to offer us things we might need or want—even the use of a Christmas tree. We followed their homemade guidebook and enjoyed walking at all the parks and trails suggested. The wifi worked superbly for all our heavy usage, and having laundry machines in the unit was really convenient with some of the odd hours in our schedule. We loved the outdoor holiday lights, too. The location in Langley horse country is quiet and peaceful, and we often heard owls and coyotes at night. Thank you for being so kind and for the great vacation stay!

We have lived in Langley all of our lives and moved to this property in 1997. It proved to be a wonderful place to raise our family and we continue to enjoy the quite serenity of the neighbourhood. My Husband and I both work in the construction industry so designing and building a carriage house was right up our alley. We have enjoyed Vacation Rentals and loved meeting people from across this continent as well as Europe.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We love the diversity of a hobby farm. The large Maple tree as well as the many cedar trees add to the calming serenity of the location ... and of course the year round pond. We love to watch the many birds that use our piece of Langley as their sanctuary.
