Cabin #1 Bela - Custom Built Aframe - Kid and Pet friendly

#1 Cabin BĂ©la has a traditional feel with all the modern amenities. This deluxe A-frame has a full bathroom with standup shower. Inside is kitchenette with retro studio fridge, microwave, small sink, and coffee maker; queen sized bed; full-sized sleeper sofa; recliner; TV; and dining area. This cabin has energy efficient mini-split unit for heating and cooling. Good for one to four guests in two beds or borrow and air mattress. We look forward to seeing you pondside.
The space
You will love staying in this newly built cabin by the river. At the head of camp you will have a great view of all activities, the pond, and just a short walk to the store.
Guest access
Camp Holly allows camper access to two rivers, swimming holes, lake, and hiking trails.
Other things to note
This is a boutique camping experience where everyone is welcome. Linens are provided.

Visiting Family in Hacker Valley

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Cabin #1 Bella. The location was excellent for visiting family in Hacker Valley and our Daughter who was camping with her family at Holly River SP. There was plenty of room to relax in the living area, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower and bathroom were clean and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

The owner was very nice happy to help with anything you might need or need to know the cabin was great very clean river was right out the back door I slept with it open to hear the river I would definitely recommend to anyone

Sweet A frame. Very basic camping.

Cabin was clean and cute. Hot water only lasted a couple minutes. Limited supplies - teeny coffee pot, 1 washcloth 2 towels. Unable to reach host in advance of arrival, however he does live onsite.

Did not stay

Very friendly owners. However no key for cabin. I did not feel safe leaving my belongings in a place i could not lock. The pictures shown for property does not show that it is a campground. I did not realize there was going to be travel trailers in same area. The pictures only show 3 cabins. They are pet friendly. But we did not stay. We contacted owner but no refund offered.

Do not stay here!

The place was not as advertised at all. We planned our stay around the fact that they had a spa tub. They just didn’t set it up this year. And once we reported it they just removed it from the listing. Check in was messy and confusing. The cabin wasn’t very clean. No hot water. Just an overall terrible experience. The property owner originally offered a partial refund and now won’t answer any inquiries about that.

I would not recommend this campground. I left after one night. The owner lists amenities that do not exist on the property. For example, it lists a communal pool (reality is two swim holes) and a pond. States there is a grill but does not state that it is located across the campground for communal use. The main reason why we left is due to the inability to connect to the Wi-Fi (as listed). I was depending on this amenity to perform job duties while visiting. The Wi-Fi was at best "spotty", making doing any work impossible. I abandoned the property and drove home so I could work. The owner will not refund my money because he stated that I should have reported these issues prior to leaving. However, calling spectrum to increase the Wi-Fi speed, creating a pool, and supplying a grill were not things that he could fix on a whim. I suggested more accurate advertising would go a long way.
Firepit had remnants of the broken picnic table. Picnic table not usable
Campground is very small, walking distance to convenient store would require you to walk on route 15 which is a 50mph road- should be listed as a short drive
Lists access to river, but there is a very steep ravine (directly behind the A frame).

This is a primary destination for outdoor enthusiast that like to hike, fish, climb, raft, kayak, hunt, or just adventure in the woods. We are only 15 minutes away from beautiful Webster Springs that boasts plenty of shopping and tourist attractions.
