All of the teflon fry pans had scratches which is unhealthy and should be replaced, cooking utensils were worn. There was no spatula for flipping pancakes, etc. I asked one of the ladies who does room service if I could have another bar of shower soap as they're typically very small and it didn't last our entire stay. She said "no" she wasn't allowed to give me one. Also, there was no room cleaning unless we paid extra for it. For 10-days accommodation, one in-between stay, room clean should have been included in the price. One of the couches had a long, one-piece cushion to sit on and it kept sliding off. It too was very worn. The childrens' pools were not heated, they were very cold, so kids ended up swimming in the adult quiet pool which was the only heated pool. Location is lovely, right on one of the lagoons, easy walk to Aulani Disney Resort. Nice walkways, easy access to shops. Grounds & pools are very clean.

Great stay in Kapolei

The Ko Olina resort is a wonderful facility. Away from the "hectic" Honolulu area made for a relaxing time when returning from our many "excursions!" Our family of seven....two grandparents, daughter, her husband, and three teens (13, 17, 19) enjoyed the 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, very roomy condo. Great place to stay!

Everything about this place was perfect. Location, It slept eight people very comfortably, very nice furnishings without it being too fancy. Wonderful location and property

My family and I loved our stay! We spent much of our time on the lanai which has a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets. The unit was very clean and quiet. We had everything we needed to make meals in the kitchen. The property is right on the sandy beach. The pools were great and felt private even with other guests there. Family Stay

We took a multi generational family trip to Hawaii and our stay here was fantastic. The pictures do not do it justice...I knew it would be beautiful...but was blown away by the grounds and beach area and our living space. Perfect Getaway in Hawaii

For our first time in Hawaii, this property was perfect for our family vacation. The unit was very clean and beautiful with lots of room. The kitchen was impressive! Good view of the ocean for morning breakfast and walks. It’s close to other resorts and point of interests. The parking was little tight but doable. If we ever come back to Hawaii we will consider staying here again.

Loved staying on this quieter side of the island. The property was very well kept and both the pool and the lagoon were lovely. The suite was very spacious and provided more then enough room for 6 people. Kitchen was excellent, had everything needed (except a cheese grater!) . Even had beach towels and beach chairs. Would definitely recommend it!

Amazing Location and Facility

This is our second time staying at the KoOlina Beach Villas. The property is amazing and is a perfect fit for us to have all the home amenities. Communication with management was great, they provided us with a quick response when we couldn't figure out the washing machine. The staff is super friendly, and helpful. The umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach is a great addition. (Rob is A-1) We are already planning our next trip.

View was beautiful however bed not as advertised. I did receive a discount for last night to compensate. We also were assigned a compact parking space for a very large car. Was challenging. I would still stay here again. The overall property was very nice.

Clean, rooms are small

Beautiful property, my adult children like it Bed is too soft and low Harder for older people to get around. and the furniture have pointy edges that I have to be mindful of. Primary room is like the regular bedrooms with a king size bed TV remote didn’t work and sink was clogged but maintenance guy did a fabulous job. Will probably not come back to this property.

Nice but there's room for improvement

This unit is very nice and spacious and the view is much better than the photos show. The beach equipment was nice to have. The beds were comfortable and it is nice and quiet. However, the living room furniture and rugs are VERY dirty and in need of replacement or a deep clean. The plastic "wicker" on the outdoor furniture is starting to fall apart. The shower head in the bathroom by the queen bedroom is so high that you need to be 7ft tall to use it, thankfully, it has a handheld attachment. The washing machine smells strongly of mildew. It would have been nice to have some Windex to clean the tabletop and countertops. As for the resort, the staff was friendly and the landscaping is well manicured. The gas grills were nice to have. You need to take a key card with you everywhere - a key card is even required to access the pool bathrooms, even though a key card is required to get into the pool area. Parking is VERY tight due to support columns, and we received a notice for having our tire on the white line. The cushions on the pool chairs are so filthy, I would not even think of using them. The pool bar is convenient, but a small drink -about 6oz- is $15 not including tip. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but some things need improvement.

Would love to rate more than three stars but cannot

My opening comment would be to allow that this is a wonderful location and a beautiful property and we did have a very good time, thankyou for that! BUT.. There were some issues that I am not happy about, The first morning the coffee pot was not functional, (notified the Host and it was replaced the same day, Thankyou)! Furniture, there are two Futons in the front room, the one by the door was/is broken and it was impossible to sit on as the back would fall off, this appears to be due to a pin missing from the back left side. Host was notified and supposedly this was referred to maintenance. As it was not resolved on Sunday in order for everyone to be able to be seated we swapped these items and put the broken one against the wall in order to support the back. While accomplishing this it was discovered that the area underneath these items had not been cleaned (perhaps ever) as there were/was food, candy wrappers, dead bugs etc. under each of these. We used the marginally functional vacuum to clean the carpets. We advised the Host of the move and sent along pictures of the filth under each. Host acknowledged, would advise a supervisor and was never heard from again for the length of our stay. Host was also advised that dryer was/is nearly useless as it took HOURS to dry laundry and towels. I looked into this and discovered that it appears that at some point the lint filter was not installed or installed improperly as there was a huge build up of lint BELOW the filter restricting air flow. This was removed with minor improvement, however I suspect that there is lint restricting airflow further down the vent, THIS IS A POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD, the Host was notified but we received no response. We found that we had to wash most dishes by hand as they did not come out of the dishwasher clean, likely an indication of clogged or blocked jets resulting in inadequate waterflow, Host was advised, no response. Beach toys, we did attempt to use the beach umbrella only to find the ribs broken and it would not stay up, also wheels are missing from the cooler. Again Host was advised. Let me state again for the record, this is a beautiful location and property and we successfully shared our 50th anniversary with our family and had a great time! However I do not believe that is is unreasonable given the price paid that there is an expectation that appliances work, furniture can be used and we should not find hidden accumulations of filth and trash. Great stay for a family

Beautiful quiet area. Place is nice, spacious, and clean. In our group there was 7 adults and 1 toddler. The 3 rooms plus the pull out couches in the living room were very comfortable for everyone. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed. Balcony area was able to fit everyone as well to enjoy the sunrise or sunsets. The beach is very quiet as well without many people and water is very calm. Bring your snorkeling gear as you can see many fish when you swim to the reef areas. The place also had some chairs and umbrellas to use for the beach that helped out as well. Was our first time in Hawaii and definitely liked the quietness of the area rather than the busy Waikiki beach. Will definitely be back in this area again. Only negative is parking spot. We rented a Chevy Suburban and was only given one parking spot that was right next to
. Another Suburban and a pole. The cars were so close that I couldn’t park without getting out of the car safely and not hitting the other car so I had to ask the hotel lobby to help out and the only option was to park outside the parking garage in the employee parking which wasn’t the best either since most of those spots were for “compact” cars. However, the front desk was very understandable and helped out in those situations. Overall, this was a beautiful place to stay that gave you the comforts of a house and not just a hotel room with a bed.

Gorgeous location, amazing property

This place is even better than the pictures. The condo is beautiful and well-appointed, and the whole complex is lovely. Great beach and pool for kids.
