The space
THE MAIN HOUSE:
The main house boasts three cozy bedrooms, making it ideal for families and large groups. Sink into the cozy beds for a great night’s sleep after a full days worth of activities. The main house comfortably sleeps 6 and has 1 full bathroom. In the main house you will also find a cozy living area, full kitchen, and dining room.

Above the garage, you’ll find separate living quarters with two additional bedrooms, a full bath, fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and a living space with a sleeper sofa.

Our cabin is ideally situated for adventure, exploration, boating, fishing, hunting, and more! Just steps away is Jose Lake where you can bring your boat or enjoy yourself at the lake access points!

A scenic 30-minute drive takes you to the pristine shores of Lake Huron, while charming beach towns like Oscoda and East Tawas are also within a 30-minute drive.

We loved the layout of this home. We had lots of room for 6 adults 3 kids and 3 dogs. It was great having an extra kitchen. We went in the winter and enjoyed GREAT ice fishing. Nice size Perch. Nice size yard and a nice neighborhood. Also plenty of parking, we had 3 vehicles and a snowmobile trailer. There is also great hiking and sledding hills nearby. Would come back again for our family winter get away.

The house was very clean and well equipped. The hot tub was hot and a welcome treat after a long day! Beds were very comfortable, which you don’t often find in a rental! 10/10 would stay again and recommend to others!

Any time you stay somewhere unfamiliar it can be stressful. The communications from the host were continuous throughout our stay just to make sure everything was going fine. The hot tub was clean and warm even in negative temperatures. Our ice fisherman enjoyed our stay and we hope to book again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and cozy place. The Christmas tree they put up was such a thoughtful touch and really made our family Christmas feel special. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of supplies and accessories, which made cooking and spending time together easy and enjoyable. We made amazing memories. Highly recommend!

We had a great time in this spacious cabin. Had a great time enjoying meals around the massive kitchen/dining table. Many inches of snowfall during our stay added to the winter wonderland feel!

Everything was excellent! I didn’t give the top rating for cleanest only because of a few corners and crevices that maybe your cleaning company overlooked but then again I’m a clean freak! We have the best comments for Holly and Shane, our hosts. I will recommend this property over and over again. It was just great!!!

This was the cleanest rental property I’ve ever stayed in. It’s like a little resort with all of the amenities. Great house for a group.

Everything and then some

We booked this for my brothers bachelor party with about 10 of us. There was no shortage of space in this beautiful property. We especially loved the Rec area in the garage and the fire area. The two kitchens was an added plus. Great location and awesome little spot! Thanks Holly!

Wonderful Host and Stay

We had a lovely weekend with family! We had 8 adults and 4 children (plus a baby) with us and had plenty of room to enjoy each others company.We lost power briefly while we were the and the hosts were very attentive in their communication. We loved the fire pit out back, with space to also play cornhole. The kitchen table was perfect for sharing meals together. The garage provided lots of entertainment for adults and kids alike. The beds were all a bit uncomfortable. The hot tub didn’t seem very clean, even after making a couple of suggested adjustments. The photos make the house look more updated than it really is. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to others! The hosts were great, the space was perfect and we all had a good time.

Much needed escape with family!

My husband and his family spent many summers up around José Lake, where this gem is located. He and his siblings had wanted to spend some time where they had so many wonderful memories
 Could not have asked for a better place for us to spend time together. Everyone had their own space to relax and rest but the common areas of this property were what turned out to be the best part. The garage area game room and the fire pit patio area were our favorites but the kitchen (big enough to seat all of us at one time) was a close second. These hosts really thought of EVERYTHING! From the welcome binder, plenty of pots/pans/plates, etc
 to the little things like soaps and lotions. I had to work during the trip so the first thing I did was made sure I could get onto the wifi. I had a little trouble and reached out to our host for assistance. She was so responsive (note
 she called me from EUROPE)! I was on and ready to get to work right away. She checked in with me to make sure all was well. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking to house a large family who are looking to have a lot of fun and to make a lot of wonderful new memories!
