Idyllic Lake Naivasha retreat in Green Park

A haven of peace and natural beauty, Leleshwa House is set within the serene confines of a 5-acre Green Park estate. Overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Naivasha, we offer a restorative escape, ideal for those seeking quiet and solace. Get captivated by daytime lake views, while unwinding in our solar-heated pool, surrounded by wildlife including zebra, waterbuck and impala. Leleshwa House is a sanctuary for peaceful reflection and intimate moments with family, friends, or colleagues.

This stunning two-story home features four inviting bedrooms (two ensuite), each designed with total luxury in mind. The ground floor houses a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a sitting area that opens onto a veranda with an outdoor dining table that accommodates up to 14 guests. The first floor offers a variety of lounge furniture, perfectly situated in a sunroom with a breathtaking view, living room, and dining area. An evening fire in the fireplace, or an outdoor bonfire, are part of our service.

Eight guests can be comfortably accommodated with two people sharing each bedroom. There is a sofa bed option for an additional ninth adult and two cribs available for toddlers. Beds have a “hotel feature” allowing them to be zipped together for your choice of a king-sized bed or two separate singles per room. Inquire about our food service options, which range from barbecue packages to full-service, farm-to-table fine dining.

Leleshwa House shares an exclusive five-acre estate with our sister properties Makuti Cottage and Buffalo Lodge, which are also available on AirBnB. The house is yours exclusively, as are three separate outdoor spaces for dining and cocktails, socialising, and enjoying an evening bonfire. Our swimming pool is available to other guests.

Leleshwa Retreat is inspired by the standard of five-star service that guests have come to expect at the most luxurious safari lodges around Kenya. While those who prefer privacy can book a self-catering stay, we offer food service options that range from barbecue packages to full-service, farm-to-table fine dining. Our staff are available to cater for every need, including housekeeping, turn-down service, a bon-fire, or drinks and hor d'oeuvres. We are pleased to offer suggestions for nearby activities including nature walks, horse riding, golf, or other activities at the Great Rift Valley Lodge.

With its gorgeous setting paired with well-equipped facilities, our estate is the ideal location for events ranging from small weddings to corporate retreats. Leleshwa House has a first-floor lounge that accommodates 18 participants and comes complete with a large-screen TV for presentations, a flip chart, and a printer. Please note: while we welcome celebrations, we maintain a culture of tranquility and ask that guests respect our 'reasonable noise' policy to preserve the serenity of the environment. Outdoor music is not permitted.

* There is currently construction underway within our estate. While Leleshwa House is unaffected, there may be supervised workers in some of our outdoor spaces. The swimming pool and hot-tub are closed, though a shared pool at the nearby Great Rift Valley Lodge is available as an interim replacement. Our pool is schedule to reopen August 1, 2024.
