Great location, 5 minutes’ walk to Limegrove Centre and 1st/2nd Street. Holetown Beach and Folkestone Marine Park are walkable. Easy to catch a bus or ZR to Speightstown.

The location is convenient, however, there were several important issues during and after our stay that future guests should be aware of.
During our 12-day stay, nearby construction caused road closures on at least four separate days, making access to the apartment difficult at times. This was disruptive and not communicated in advance.
On arrival, we noticed the refrigerator was leaking, with visible water on the kitchen floor. The downstairs area was extremely hot, and without air conditioning it was not realistically usable unless the back door was kept open. Unfortunately, the back door has no insect screen, which resulted in a significant mosquito issue. Fans alone were not sufficient to make the space comfortable.
Regarding linens, four bath towels were provided, of which we used only one. An oil stain was later discovered. Additional towels were delivered promptly by the house manag; although they still had tags attached, they were visibly yellowed from long-term storage.
After checkout, the host requested USD 1,500 in compensation, alleging damage to a grey bedsheet and wall marks. These issues were not raised during the stay and were not apparent to us at checkout. The property was used normally and with care, and these claims appeared to relate to wear, pre-existing conditions, or issues not caused by guest misuse.
Based on our experience, future guests are strongly advised to carefully inspect and document all aspects of the property at check-in and check-out.

Functional
Have broken our review into 2 sections - 'good' & 'could be better' - nothing was bad but there are things that could be improved.Good:- The host is super-helpful and very responsive to queries. We noted there was no kettle and they sorted it next day- The accommodation was functional but a bit basic based on other rentals on this and other islands (we have stayed in Barbados previously, Antigua & St Lucia)- It's very close to all the amenities in town (just a 5 minute walk) but doesn't suffer from noise from town.- Location is great is you want to get out & about by public transport (you really must!)- Plenty of choice of beaches within walking distanceCould be better:- There is no nice outside space (the back space is surrounded by 8 ft walls & the front space isn't really that practical). There is no furniture to sit out on, eg: comfy chairs, loungers, etc- Accommodation is for 4 but there's often 3 of things (towels, glasses, etc). Some of it was brand new (still had labels on so maybe these are just early teething problems). The outside table had only 2 chairs, yet the inside dining could seat 6!- Equipment for self-catering was a little limited - especially given Holetown's restaurant scene is not that extensive- No aircon downstairs, which made it too hot to sit in unless you were prepared to share with the mozzies (There are fans downstairs).- No welcome/info pack explaining the accommodation/local area for newbies

Accommodation Amenities: Our goal is to provide a comfortable stay with amenities such as a washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker, and blender. We understand that perceptions of “basic” can vary and would appreciate specific suggestions on additional appliances or features that could enhance the experience for future guests.
Inventory and Supplies: catered for a party of three as stated in the reservation.
Regarding the towels, we aimed to provide fresh, new linens for your comfort and regret any inconvenience the tags on the new linens may have caused.
Guest Information: While we currently lack a physical welcome booklet, I offered comprehensive information through the Vrbo platform, including dining recommendations. We will work on creating a physical booklet.
Outdoor Space Enhancements: We acknowledge your comments and will add lounge chairs for future.
