Villa Alcoutri is a modern, fully air conditioned 2 Bedroom, 2 1/2 Bathroom Villa located in the beautiful Sunset Crest, West Coast area. The west coast boasts the calmest water, beautiful beaches, amazing restaurants, and the beautiful Lime Grove Mall.

The French doors open up to an amazing 16 x 16 wooden deck, with a 7x6 plunge pool, ideal for cooling down, and a 4 seater dining table, perfect for sunbathing, entertaining, alfresco dining and experiencing beautiful sunsets. The deck is surrounded by beautiful tropical plants, providing ambience and privacy. Early risers might just get to see our local green monkey in the nearby gardens.

Our bright and airy living area is air conditioned, open planned and comprises of living room featuring a new 42 ' flat screen TV, with ample seating, a well equipped kitchen and 4 seating dining area. High speed wireless internet access and cable TV available .

The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, large wardrobe, in room AC unit and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, smaller wardrobe, AC unit and ensuite with a shower and bathtub. The laundry room is equipped with washer/dryer and laundry sink for your use.

Located just an easy 12 minutes walk (yes, I timed a leisure stroll to the beach) away from the beautiful, white sandy beaches of the west coast, supermarket, shopping malls, restaurants, nightlife.

Included in the rental cost, all guests will have access to the beautiful, members only Sunset Crest Beach Club/Beach House. This is a property right on the beach with large pool, restaurant, plenty of sun beds, washrooms, shower facilities and lockers, located just a few minute's walk from the villa. The beach bar is a perfect place to grab a drink and bite to eat at Sunset. There are also a number of beach bars along the same board walk to enjoy the amazing views of the Caribbean Seas.

From the main street you are able to connect with an excellent and affordable bus route that connects to all over the island.

There is weekly housekeeping and pool maintenance included with your stay.

In Spring 2022 we purchased this beautiful property that has previously been rented by the other owners and received high ratings and amazing reviews. We have continued to employ the same wonderful staff (manager, housekeeper, gardener, and pool caretaker) to provide the outstanding service which generated many 5 star reviews from previous guests.

Our adult sons and their partners stayed here during our family holiday trip to Barbados this year and had a great time! It's in a perfect location, close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants, all in a wonderful relaxed neighbourhood. A clean and organized space with a thoughtful layout. Excellent and Quiet location

Lovely property and fabulously clean and tidy. Great location, walking distance to beach, bar’s and supermarket. We did have a car but bus stop is at the end of the road 5 minutes away. Villa was is a lovely and quiet area, and everything that we needed. We had a fabulous time and would definitely go back again. The property manager Tricia was also lovely and helpful and met us at the property when we arrived.

December Break

We booked a last-minute flight in December and needed somewhere to stay in Holetown. Tina was very accommodating in confirming the booking quickly and the apartment was exactly as described. Tricia was very helpful with check-in and check out. The apartment is a great location without the need for a car as you can walk to the beach, supermarket and bars, restaurants quite easily. Nice, quiet location

We absolutely loved the villa, the location, and the beach clubThe villa was spacious spotless and very comfortable for our family of 4, It had everything we needed and with AC in all roomsThe location was perfect we had a short walk to the beach, supermarket, and lots of good places to eat, we loved Café Bar Carizma for breakfastHaving access to the beach club was a great plus again just a short walk from the villa plenty of loungers, one of the days we visited the beach club is was fairly busy but the attendant just got out more loungers for us. Bathroom showers facilities are good too. There is also bar where you can purchase drinks and food. Access to the beach is easy just from the side of the beach club.Communication with the host Tina and property manager was excellent very quick to respond thanks Tricia, didn’t get the name of the house keeper, but we returned from a day out and the villa was completely clean again she did a great job,great service. We would definitely want to return again, thank you all for making our stay fun, enjoyable and relaxing.

Great stay in Barbados

We recently stayed in the Villa for 6 nights and had a great visit. The Villa was perfect for our needs (two couples). Clean and roomy. The beach club access was nice to have and we enjoyed our time around their pool and beach. We rented a car for our whole visit which made it very easy to travel from Holetown to all areas on the island, including the Friday night fish festival in Oistins. It is only a short drive to the local Massy’s grocery store where we did our shopping for breakfast and dinner items, which we prepared in the villa’s kitchen. The check in and check out process was easy. If we come back to Barbados, we would be happy to stay here again.

Calm, Restful, SupportedIf I could give more stars for owner and on site staff communications and support, I would love to. Too complicated to explain but on 2 occasions prior to our holiday our plans were compromised for reasons outside our control and nothing to do with the owner. However, on both occasions, Tina’s communications were not only very responsive but went way beyond what we could have hoped for or expected and, it’s no exaggeration to say, rescued our special family Christmas vacation for which we will forever be grateful. Also, on the day of check in our arrangements were again upended for unforeseen circumstances and Tricia and Kay, onsite, also went out of their way to assist us.Villa Alcoutri itself is calm, restful, homely and bright. Just what we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable, great AC throughout, the villa has every facility and accessory anyone would need. The beach club is an amazing bonus too. It is walkable to all the nearby facilities as other reviewers state. Though as British septogenarians with a few health conditions, not used to temperatures in the high 20’s and 30’s the little car we hired was just perfect to tootle around the local area. The guest handbook at the villa is also packed full of useful and very interesting information about the area and the island.We are very happy to recommend not only Villa Alcoutri but also particularly the owner, the booking process and especially communications.

Nice house, Good Location

Booking process was easy and Tina was very responsive to all of our questions before we arrived On arrival we were able to check in slightly earlier than expected which was a bonus, Trisha was very helpful and her introduction to the facilities was clear and comprehensive The house is in a good location a few minutes walk from the beach and shops We had a car which was useful but we could have survived perfectly well without it House well equipped and all in working order Air conditioning was excellent The access to the beach club was unexpectedly good, not busy and a great place to see the sun go down. We were sorry to leave and would visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Alcoutri. It was perfect for us.We are a couple in our early 70s and we have stayed in the Sunset Crest/Holetown area of Barbados many times since 1994. The photos on VRBO are very accurate and Villa Alcoutri suited us down to the ground. We felt very safe and at home in the villa which is in a quiet location at the end of a small cul-de-sac. We slept so well in the comfortable bed.The villa was very clean when we arrived. Kay, the housekeeper came to clean the villa twice during our 18 night stay. She is a very friendly, lovely person. We hired a car for the majority of our stay as we like to visit our favourite places around the island. If you don't want to hire a car, you can catch buses or taxis which are readily available. The beach, The Beach Club with its pool and other facilities, Limegrove Shopping Mall, bars, restaurants and other amenities - including Massy Supermarket, Clifton Market and a couple of mini markets - are all within walking distance.Prior to our holiday, Tina was very helpful and friendly and she replied to our messages promptly.Tricia, the villa manager met us at the villa on arrival and she showed us around. She responded to any queries that we had during our stay in a friendly and efficient manner.We would like to stay at Villa Alcoutri again at some point. We will certainly recommend it to our family and friends.Many thanks to everyone for ensuring that our stay was such a happy one.

A wonderful home from home.

My wife and I stayed three weeks at Tina's lovely residence and had a wonderful time. It's in a quiet location which is only minutes from the shops in Holetown and the beautiful West Coast beach. Booking was very easy and Tina was really kind and helpful. The villa itself is extremely well-appointed with everything one could need for an enjoyable stay. A special mention should go to the fact that there are individual air-con units in each room. If you've ever stayed, as we have, in tropical properties where only one room has air-con, then you'll appreciate just how splendid this is. Trisha, the property manager, was so very helpful and answered any questions we had. Likewise the lady who kept the villa immaculately clean. I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone wanting somewhere lovely to stay in beautiful Barbados.

Best at Sunset Crest

We have stayed multiple times within the Sunset Crest area in a variety of villas depending on our group size with mixed levels of satisfaction. However, Tina’s villa exceeded all our expectations. I have never stayed in such a clean villa. Kaye the housekeeper has very high standards and is a truly lovely person. The images on the site accurately describe the property. You can walk everywhere. We managed and are 70 plus so very easy access to shops, beach and restaurants. Taxis easily available. Lots of information about the local area in the villa. Tricia the local manager was always on hand if needed and very responsive.The outside area is small but again that is shown on the pictures and it is landscaped very cleverly with trees and flowers. The plunge pool was great but a bit difficult for us to get in and out but great for families to cool down in. Very very comfortable beds.This villa represents excellent value compared to many properties we have stayed in.We loved our stay and would recommend unreservedly.We used the beach club again great addition included within the price.

Barbados get away

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. However, we were concerned about the security. No security cameras, hedges, trees and bushes all overgrown.( making it easier for someone to be unseen by anyone on the road) The plunge pool was not that clean ( only cleaned once during our 3 week stay) There was a terrible sewer type smell in the main bedroom. We told the maintenance person.Nothing was done during our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Lots of towels and beach chairs etc provided. The TV had a red line across the screen. Follow up on the security issues... a chain was put around both gates, making access to the patio doors a bit more difficult.However, anyone could still access the patio doors by simply stepping on the wooden deck rails. We loved the easy access to the beach, shops and the beach club pool.

Anna Marie, I am so sorry that you have experienced your stay in this way. I appreciate the feedback. In our two years of owning the property this is the first time I have received such feedback. I did want to point out a few things. When I had heard from the property manager about your concerns on safety (which to knowledge included a man who was on the patio during the daytime in you arrival back from the beach) I messaged you directly to connect and offer suggestions. As well, the maintenance man immediately added locks to the gates, and asked a neighbour to keep an eye out and is planning other remedies to increase security. The vegetation is lush (not over grown as we have a gardener that takes care of it) with the purpose of providing privacy for guests. There are lights all around the property, as well as security bars on windows and locks. It is not a gated community. The decision to not have security cameras is one that was done with careful consideration, as security cameras on the patio also would interfere with guest privacy. I will definitely be looking into your statement that the plunge pool was not cleaned. There is a pool person who is hired to come by weekly. However, he may have come when you were away from the property. I am curious if the issues was cleanliness or more so, leaves and droppings from the trees. There is a hand held pool skimmer for guests to use for the droppings as this is an hourly event. The smell of sewer is a concern and the maintenance main was by to check it out right after you mentioned it and is in the process of checking the seals on the septics that are shared by the properties nearby. I had stayed in the property in mid March and this wasn’t occurring that that time. And finally the tv was replaced this week with a new tv. I am sorry that you did not get to enjoy that on your stay. Our sincere apologies for the inconveniences you experienced. We will continue to take any and all feedback into consideration and respond so that guests have a pleasant stay at our property. Regards, Tina.

Fabulous Villa in Sunset Crest

This is a beautiful villa in an excellent area of Holetown.....only minutes from the beach, supermarket and all other amenities. The villa is light and spacious and is spotlessly clean. The housekeeper, Kaye, is wonderful, and very high standards are maintained. The attractive decked area makes a great place to relax and enjoy the tropical garden. There is a good range of kitchen equipment, cooking utensils and a super fridge with an ice-making machine attached. There is a laundry room with very good washing machine and tumble drier. The crockery is a bit limited and could do with being upgraded. The property manager, Trisha, went the extra yard and immediately dealt with any requests that we made....eg....provision of a non-slip shower mat, which was necessary as one of our party had recently had a hip replacement. We would come back to this property again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to others. Unfortunately, we were too slow off the mark and it is already booked for our preferred dates for 2024, otherwise we would have booked again without hesitation.

We live and work in Alberta, Canada. Barbados is a second home for us and a getaway during the cold Canadian winters. When we are not able to be there, we enjoy sharing our home with guest who enjoy returning year after year to this idyllic paradise or first-time visitors who seem to catch the same love for the island after their first visit. I love answering questions about the island and love hear from guests about what they loved about their stay with us and their stay on the island.

Location, location location. Sunset Crest area on the West Coast is a quiet beautiful area with everything you could ever need within walking distance. The property is bright and clean with everything you would need to have a great vacation. It's home away from home. The deck is one of my favorite places to relax with a beverage between the beach and dinner out at one of the wonderful restaurants nearby. The plunge pool is always a hit with teens and children. I must admit I also find it very relaxing and refreshing, especially after walking on a warm day.

The deck is my favourite place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening beverage. The tropical foliage surrounding the deck gives it a very private feel.
