This 3 story, 3 deck home is perfect for your Lake Wedowee vacay. Brand new remodel with fresh and fun art filled spaces, 4 bedrooms, open bed area, 7 beds & 3.5 baths offers plenty of room for the whole family to relax, unwind and enjoy.

The private pool, various decks, outdoor firepit, private dock, grill, gazebo with swingset and cabana add space everyone can enjoy. Our mural provides the perfect backdrop for Instagram worthy vacay photos. The owners have furnished two kayaks, outdoor games, a cabana with bar space including a refrigerator and wine cooler, a swingset for the little ones with grill area for prepping the perfect meal. Our murals complete the outdoor vacay vibes.

Our basement with super cool sectional and large TV is the perfect place to watch movies and play time. The top floor houses 4 private bedroom and sitting area with twin daybed. each room has its own personality but all are sure to provide the comfort and relaxation you need to relax and enjoy!

The open concept main level is the perfect place to cook while watching TV and enjoying time on one of our 3 porches. A full sized indoor dining table and large outdoor dining table are the perfect places to enjoy family meals.

At the Lucky Duck you will find all you need for the perfect family vacation, fishing retreat, game day shenanigans, business retreat and all the things!!!!!

PLEASE TAKE NOTE- There are no bedrooms on the main level. 4 bedroom are on the top level and one in the lower level therefore all bedrooms are only accessible via stairs.

Long weekend getaway

Property was everything listing said and more. Private pool is a must and was cool and refreshing. As with everything else, life happens but the owners handled it all with ease and communication

Our family of 9 had a great time. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the water as well as the house. The only negative was we never got the pool cleaned. But we only used it a couple times so no big deal. The stairs are no joke! But it was great exercise!

Amazing location and property management.

Our stay was full of fun with access to the pool to swim and nice dock to fish. It was so relaxing for all of our family. When we had questions the owners were super responsive and I would recommend this to any family or friend group for a vacation spot.

Family vacation

The Lucky Duck is beautiful. The location is great. The beds were comfortable and we loved the sofa downstairs. We enjoyed the pools and the guys fished off of the dock. It was a great time with family. Everything was spectacular!

Had lots of fun and the home is beautiful!

We loved our stay here at the Lucky Duck Dive! The pool was great to swim with our babies under one. Easy lake access. The painted wall made for a nice family photo. The property was very clean and felt cozy. Definitely planning on staying again next year!

Labor Day Weekend

Our family of 10 loved everything about The Lucky Duck. The decor, the pool, the room for everyone to feel comfortable and the use of the kayak and paddle board. We had a wonderful time and will definitely book again with Kesa and Shaun. They are great Hosts.

There were 10 of us -took our boat. Caught alot of fish and played on the lake. Also played in the pool. Had a great time. Highly recommend this property....

4th of July on the Lake

The Lucky Duck was an amazing property! Big enough for our big family (8 adults and 4 kids). The pool spoiled us and we did not make it down to the lake much. When we did it was nice, but the convenience of the pool and the debris around the deck led us to spending lots of times in the pool and around the gazebo. Grilled out multiple nights on the propane grill. Went into town one day and spent a few hours at the Wedowee Winery. Absolutely recommend. Very nice neighborhood. Even got to see some fireworks from the neighbors dock on the 4th. Main living area worked great for cooking dinners and sitting around the table sharing laughs. Basement is very spacious and we were able to get my son’s Nintendo Switch hooked up to enjoy some game time on the TV down there. The older boys really enjoyed the basement and made it “their chill spot” when they were not outside. Beds are all super comfortable. Let’s not forget the “Frisky Frog” at the Lucky Duck - the separate shed bar off the house and pool area. We all enjoyed several games of darts and multiple fun nights kicking it up out there. The owners; Kesa and Shaun were amazing. They came multiple times to make sure the pool was good and even pulled out a Lilly pad that the kids could use at the dock on the lake. They were very responsive and very friendly. Really great people. I would recommend staying at The Lucky Duck!

Good stay, friendly responsive host

A portion of our extended family gathered here for a semi-last-minute Thanksgiving getaway. We had a really nice time and were especially appreciative of the large number of dishes and the cleanliness of the house. The host was extremely responsive, welcoming and friendly and acted quickly and generously when issues arose (we had an HVAC malfunction), even on a holiday weekend. There are some things to be aware of when booking this house. The listing does clearly state that all bedrooms are either up or down stairs, but it's important to note that the stairs going up to the second floor are not all the same height. There is one very tall one towards the bottom that resulted in a fair number of trips and stumbles within our group.Though clearly clean, there were paint splatters all over the floors and, much more importantly, all over the bathtub where we bathed our small. children. Probably not harmful, but not ideal. Finally, we all found the checkout instructions a bit onerous, particularly the need to dry and put away all the dishes vs the more standard practice of leaving the dishwasher running or hand-washed dishes drying on the mat. We would of course always leave a rental house tidy with clean dishes and take out smelly kitchen garbage, but having to dry and put away everything in the kitchen, remove all trash across the entire house, strip all the beds and bring all linens and towels to the laundry room, etc. felt like a but much. We did enjoy our stay, though.

The couple enjoys revitalizing houses and have vast experience remodeling and designing other properties including historic commercial spaces in Roanoke, a house in Gulf Shores and condo in Orange Beach. Hosting numerous guests at those properties has offered insights that they hope will make for a fab stay at the Lucky Duck!

With a love for travel, Kesa and Shaun know how important it is to have all you need on vacation and to feel "at home" in your surroundings so they have filled the Lucky Duck with art, fun colors, plenty of cookware, linens, perfect lighting, and love.

The Lucky Duck Dive is a modern lake house with plenty of space for everyone in the family. Our house is filled with amenities sure to appeal to everyone in your group.

Kesa and Shaun designed the space to have a fresh unique feel with plenty of outdoor space and indoor comfort. Local art fills all floors providing a unique feel you wont find in every short term rental.

We have provided plenty of games( giant Jenga, cornhole, giant Connect 4,) kayaks, a pool, a cabana and bar, a grill area, a firepit, double decker dock, and tons of private outdoor spaces to relax and a mural that is sure to make your stay memorable.

Inside are 5 uniquely designed bed spaces. The top floor houses the main bedrooms including a master suite with private access to the deck, a daybed on the landing for extra lounging and sleeping space, two bedrooms with king beds and a 4th with two twins.

The main floor boasts an open concept kitchen, living and dining space, laundry room, half bath and another deck. On this level there is a large outdoor dining table overlooking the lake with a view of the pool where one can linger after breakfast or enjoy a perfectly prepared dinner.

The lower level is perfect for watching your favorite movie or ballgame complete with a queen bed, full bath and access to the deck and steps to the pool and cabana.

It is important to note that all beds are either on the top floor or lower level with steps required to access those levels.
